All of you play as Auric of the Illians and leave Stasis unbanned.
If you fired these one after another, would they stack?

Just for my personal fall planning purposes, is this game actually going to happen, or do we think not? Please do not respond if you are not interested in playing in the game. Thanks.

I'm interested, but I suspect that letting anything about this game get in the way of or even affect your fall planning would be very much missing the point.

Just started playing BTS again. This game sounds like a good idea.

I would prefer if it didn't start till September, though, since I am filling in in two games until then, and I must note after that point I will be giving my full priority to pbem 46 until it's finished. If that sounds noncommittal enough for this relaxed-paced game, you can count me in.

But seriously I'm in if you need an additional fodder player who is going to half-ass it and not report much or be very engaged. You can be absolutely sure I'll play all my turns on time though and never quit.

Um...with me we have 10? Does that mean pitboss? To please Ilios, let's start talking settings with the goal of finishing no sooner than September. Starting with RefSteel's settings list, here is my vote:
Mode: Sequential Pitboss or PBEM. Actually I would do regular pitboss with 48 hour timer and Spanish mod.
RBMod: No. I just don't have the time to read the change log .
Speed: Quick
Diplo: AW
Starting date: I think someone said they couldn't start until September
Leader/Civ: Unrestricted with snake pick
Map: Mapmaker's discretion (do we have a mapmaker?)
Difficulty: Mapmaker's discretion
Barbs: Off
Huts: Off
Events: Off
Banned List: Spies, Nukes, Sid's Sushi if a water map.

Okay chatting with Ilios and thinking on what novice said earlier, and noting that 10 is an even number, we could pair up and make it 5 teams of 2 and use PBEM.

Not meaning to rain on your parade, but how do you play an uber chill game with a teammate? You need to keep each other in the loop.
I think you'd get an uberer chill game by playing a pitboss with a one-week timer. (+ A gentleman's rule against blatant double moves, which shouldn't be hard to abide by.)
Edit: Game speed could still be quick, to preserve the PBEM feeling and a semblance of progress.
If you know what I mean.
