River of blood is floating (at least I hope ) and still no screens in this thread .

I try not to spill more blood than necessary. German is IMP and a few lucky combat results could bring a lot of GG points.

I think it was quite resonable rush try from German. I sellted my 2nd city before completing BW, he probably sees my unimproved horses. What he didnt know, is that I had a setter for a third city quickly and in case of no copper at capital, I would probably have enough time to hook it. But now, why he keeps attacking when I'm able to whip spears??? Honestly, I dont get it and I'm so demn dissappointed. The only thing he will achieve is wasting the game for both of us. I decided to take some risks, and not yet whip everything to the ground. Still have some hopes the game is not lost yet.

An overview of the situation, as this is the last moment German can do some real damage. He has 4 chariots and a warrior (on the forest). I am first in turn order, so he can attack my capital with 3 chariots ( vs spear+warrior). I should be fine, but in case of some really bad RNG I lose capital. I tested a bit - a spear with these bonusses kills 3 chariots on average and my fully fortified warrior also gets immediate odds. I could have whipped the spear a turn ago (with triple whip unhappyness), but decided to take the risk.


Cities:


I had to whip Beshbalik on the last turn of worker production to follow with a 1 turn spear. Otherwise he could move chariots west and I would lose this city. That hurts, cause I'm not working furs for a while but I had no choice here. This turn he can attack with 1 chariot vs my 2 warriors.


Turfan whips grnary next turn.


As you can see, I'll have 2 more spears ready EOT (if my cap survives). That should be enough to end this rush and probably try some counterattack.

Civstats doesnt show score decrease, so it looks like German wasnt lucky to burn my western city. He had like 25-30%, I guess. The rush is over right now.

I wonder if that 1-pop whips from Mackoti mean more war with Gavagai? I wouldnt mind it, as I already have contact with Gavagai. His scout came from SW.

German moved chariots out of my land. I sent 2 of my spears north to control the isthmus and pig/fish location.


I didnt lose any cities, in fact I lost only a warrior (killed a warrior and 3 chariots), but my pathetic demo show the effect of the rush. For the last 13 turns I've been doing inaffective things, whipping units, I also lost 2 improvements. GermanJojo's demos are eqaly pathetic. Well done German, you crippled both of us.

I also have contact with Seven, he is probably to my east. I'm sure he will be delighted when he sees my demo.

It seems quiet on German's border, although he rejected my cease fire offer.

I finally found Mother Russia, not that far from my land. There is not much to fight for between us, so I hope for no trouble here in the near future. Actually i was surprised by Seven's draft pick. Not Russia, of course, cause its great civ right now (it didnt need a boost IMO). I was kind of surprised Seven picked Pericles and didnt want to try some new traits like AGR or PRO. Well, there is a great synergy ofc, but you still need Repr to go full specialist. Could he see the stone from his starting position? I dunno, but I think stone could be a game winner for Seven. Pyramids - paper/philo/edu bulb - cheap univercities with free scientist - stone rushed Oxford If he builds Pyramids, he needs to be attacked before he flies away.
In fact, there is a stone on this screen (under the skull button), but fortunatelly its closer to my land.

Well, that was an interesting turn. It is the second time I have a settler ready and I am denied settling the pig location, what I was planning from the very beginnig. After settling horses the way German did, it was quite obvious to me, he wants to settle west of fish and east of clam. But after surviving chariot rush I didnt take into account the possibility, that German has copper in the third ring of his capital. I can blame nobody but myself. Well, that sucks...



Now, I had to take one of the toughest decisions in this game. Whether should I whip axes and try to burn that fish city he will settle or should I accept the fact he settles the isthmus and go full builder mode. A you can see below I have some options for both. I could change this granary hammers in my capital into 1 turn axe and I could make a 2 pop axe whip in Turfan. Hmmm...

GermanJojo is now attacking with axes/chariots. This is fucking crazy. I don't know whether he doesn't understand I have enough time and pop to whip units or he doesn't care anymore. I will kill those units eventually, probably lose some improvements on the way... once again. Either way, there will be only one winner of this war... SevenSpirits.

I've reached top power position, that I haven't planned at all. Unfortunatelly I couldnt hit Jojo's units on flat ground, so I offered preace. Jojo finally understood he can achieve nothing and accepted the peace offer. We both fell behind in development and built unnecessary units. His GNP was lowest for quite a while, cause he had to spend a lot for unit supply.

Well done Jojo, another success in your campaign of plunging both of us.
