Well I went with a SIP. 7 turns later worker with it being much harder to get to the food was just too big an early hit. I would have far less tiles up with the worker out. If I had had a hunting or agriculture civ it may have been more viable as I would still have a 10 turn worker as exp on that site, so he would have come out on turn 11, then I guess the best play would have been grow fixing the sheep then worker and slave at size 4.
But nevermind - I seem to have been rewarded for a SIP - there is a lovely site to share the caps corn 2S3W on a plains hill. Will likely keep the scout going on an easterly circle and check out there with the warrior.

So assuming no resource pops, I will get a 10 turn worker, road move to the corn and farm it, move to the ivory and camp it, then road move to the sheep and pasture it, and then start a road to wherever I am going to settle my 2nd city.

And imgur still makes the page slightly larger?
Edit - all deleted and set to auto resize for message boards. That should work

If you use the screenshot tag, it will autosize the image to be smaller, and then clicking on the image will make it full size.

I can now, thanks. By the way, try using [screenshot ][/screenshot ] instead of [img ][/img ]. I had the same tough habit to break of using [img ] tags everywhere too, but its really much better to use [screenshot ].

Ah that's what makes them resizable... I guess it is because the imgur uploads come with img tags on it. Bollocks, I'll change them again then :P

Finally got the image posts to work! We have a week or 2 of clicking through until workers are built so to spread out interest in the slow stages I will post these later on.

Turn 2, not a huge amount going on obviously. Need to get around to analysing demos, and contemplating map size.
