My situation is still prety grim so I will not gave satisfaction to post the empire so you can se my pain.
I was thinking what i done wrong in this game that i am in this situation and there are few interiting conclusion;
1.I am the only one which started with normal plant(not 2 prod or 3 food), which lead to 15 turns worker instead of 12 on and from snowball from there.
2.Is very clear from the maps i have i got the worse land after Rema, no cities with 2 foods after second city, every city which actualy had food was far away and just 1 food in firts ring beside the maoi city which has 3 but then again that was far away.And man the quality of the land is very visible in demos, for example gaw had resources near by many of them, or GJ which has not much land , but resources one near other.And the king of this is course Dtay with excelent land compared to mine ore even with Gaw, literarly all my land has less then half of his food resources.I would enjoy to play any of my neighbours Hak or gavagai way beter land and more to expand.
3.because of the diference of the land my combo has proven very weak,i had same problem in pb20 but there i was Imp/pro(i know is not here) but would be equivalent to exp and i was capable to expand fast and atack gavagi as well, cause you know getting worker 5 ruens earlier second city 7-8 turns early is alot.So with the imbalaced maps always go with the early power guys becasue if your land no good , you can develop fast enough to get someone slower land in this case hak.
4. i got no island, actualy this is not true there is an island but is far away not like others and first need to pass near a pick to get there.Is a 5 turns galey to get there and from there alot to go, so basicaly everithing was against.
5.Some far away neighbours hate me but gave routes to the best situated players without to much concern.perhaps after will see him already having education and reserching liberalism will have second toughts but i realy doubt.
6.So whats the plan? All depends on what gavagai is doing, as he has a large power and for me to atack someone is so hard because if shape of empire(again thanks for the sea which is inside letting me with 2 flanks at 30 tiles distance on to another and having near no land between them(see dtay which has way less but land 2,5 more).I started to build some maces and cknuts to not be a soft target will get some knigs and if gavai atacks Hak i will try to get some land for myself.
