[SPOILERS - NO PLAYERS] The PB39 Map and Lurker Thread

Maybe he will turn his frustration to hammer and make the investment pay the hard way.

it looks like he still thought it was worth doing, curious if he will attack Superdeath, or join Wetbandit in carving up WLP? Those cuirassiers already, are scary.

Oh boy it's getting interesting with this new war between Ipecac and Dark Savant. I wonder how the other players react to this.

Im willing to bet JR4 pulls out the win this game unless Wetbandit sticks a knife in him.

Well that was an epic collapse! I never really got my heart into this game beyond playing unit by unit turn by turn. Playing two PB games at once isn't something I want to try again. WIthout distracted focus, even a little thought on strategy should have told me that I needed to worry about wetbandit a lot more in this one.

Lol! But also yes, this game would have been a lot more fun to strategize with a team mate. More focused on defense, I'd like to see if Mali could compete in the later game with the very early Henge and religion start.

And geez that was a load of cuirs and catapults (once they actually got there.)

From the inside, it felt like JR4 was the clear leader almost all along. I haven't started catching up on this game yet though, I'm still recovering, haha.

Charriu, how does the game look right now from your side of the Loser's Lounge? lol

I would rank the players as followed:

  1. JR4
  2. Wetbandit
  3. Dark Savant
  4. Superdeath
  5. Ipecac
  6. Yuri
So not much different.

I wonder if I'm JR4 whether chewing through ipecac is truly worth it. He's in a very strong position and has an unassailable military lead. Let the others grind their armies into dust and then when ipecac has been broken sweep in and smash the remnants of the warring parties' armies to pieces. Ipecac wouldn't be around long enough at that point to matter in terms of retaliation and superdeath is going to be further and further behind in tech, so really it woudl end up being a one front war at that point.

Or just sit it out entirely and tech away. He has a land lead now. It will take whoever conquers many turns to get the cities to contribute. He could be well on his way to a space win by then.

80 muskets, 40+ cuirs, and over 80 catapults will definitely clog up literally anyone.
