Sounds good to me. Is superdeath perhaps concentrating on the barb city for now? I wonder what the maintenance is like on your old city...

Maybe, seems logical with Egypt. I reckon that he might have maintenance issues so he might be delaying on that one as well since he knows that we can not contest it at the moment.
I think that he made a mistake in letting us out of our one city challenge. It does not cot him that much to just choke us indefinitely with like 3 war chariots. We can not do much against that without any strategic resource and he can cut those of.

Grabbed a peak into the barb city. 2 warriors on a hill, should be very easy to take for him. I reckon he does not have the economy to support it then. It is far away from him as well. My scout that is at commodore will swing back to look at his positioning.
Now I'm handing over the reins to you. There are 3 players left to play. http://civ.zulan.net/pbspy/game/77/#players
The aim as I see them are 1) to not be an easy snack 2) to take back our land.

Had to kill a couple of barb warriors and re-farm the corn. I've gone for a chariot to fight barbs and go raze the barb city if SD doesn't get there first. We'll settle the third city next turn. I think we want to chop a monument for the gold, but perhaps we go for the granary first and whip the monument? Skyshrine is going to pop borders in the next five turns.
Oddly Commodore and SD haven't met yet. Both Gav and SD have put more EPs our way than we've put their way, so their other neighbours aren't worrying them.

I would chop the monument first as happiness allows us to slave all cities more.

Commodore has a galley out. Settling for the 1-tile island or bothering his neighbours? Jute is down to 1 defender, so SD should raze it next turn.

With the wheat farm and the chop it looks like the city hits size 2 the same time as it finishes either, so might as well go monument first and then whip the granary when the food box dictates.
At the cap I 2-whipped the settler, we can overflow into a granary, then by working hammer tiles and delaying growth a turn get the full granary on growing to size 4, but then the city is happy capped, so it might be that another settler or a military build is better. Maybe an archer to grow back to size 4?

I put the overflow into a worker to support the next city (although the turn only just rolled so if you'd rather something else you have a while to say), will switch to another archer or chariot next turn to grow back to size 4.
The new city location is tricky. Gavagai has scouted the shape of Azteca so would know we settled this one straight toward him, so it might be wise to settle NE of the gold allowing him to have the food tiles. Especially since a city on the gold needs culture to do anything and a monument would be a 15 turn build. I'll go for the highlighted tile unless you think differently.

It is a very tricky area.
Settling on the gold is great for defense as all land armies has to go through that tile. Park some archers and walls there and we can stall for a long time. It also claims the both food resources from gavagai. As you have noted it is a very bad city economically until late.
Settling on the higlighted tile is a decent defensive spot, gives us gold and crabs later. It leaves room for more cities on the isthmus but that might not be a good thing as Gav have better resources to found and hold those cities.
It boils down to: do we want to annoy Gav? I think not. Our way to survive Gavs praetorians is to be prickly and useful as a thorn in SD:s side rather than a snack to share with him.

Comodicator get their overseas trade routes, and SD will capture Jute this turn.
So we settle in place rather than moving onto the gold next turn?
