Heh heh, we *must* know what has gone on. I did wonder if it was two Impis. (It was either that or Pegasus built a warrior and ad hoc an axe, but we now know that's not true.)

Ad hoc should look out, given that he is bottom power, but we should also be a little bit wary. When/if we build the Oracle, TT might be tempted to send some annoying Impis.

How about asking Pegasus or ad hoc if they have NAPs with TT? Or does that open up the question in return for us with Ruff, which is a question we perhaps don't want to answer (I guess we could lie...).

By the way, what was the rest of Pegasus' chat? Or is that all he said?

IIRC that was all he said.

I guess we could ask politely if they have NAPs and/or are aware of his power buildup.

We could also ask TT for a NAP. In return, we could offer him Open Borders once we have writing, so that his Impis are able to traverse our lands and chase a circumnavigation bonus. Point out that our culture is blocking him. Of course, he could possibly go south of the lakes or do a deity RoP...

Got it.

Seven revealed a rice on his travels, and the chat with Pegasus on city settlement, whilst seeming a little circular, threatened to come to a conclusion. So perhaps a spiral.

Ruff discovered AH based on his points score and power increase (2k). Pegasus' power did not increase. Demographics for Turn 48:

At the start of the turn, we discovered Priesthood and moved onto AH (due in 5), whilst two of our workers moved to forests to begin chopping in readiness for the mighty Oracle.

After the turn, Big Slick's borders expanded, giving us a nice line of visibility due to the forested hill under our control, including sight of Pegasus' warrior who is evidently playing it cautiously (and who can blame him with TT spamming Impis to his west).

There was no chat from anyone else - all I did was offer a T100 NAP to TT.

Looking at the scores and population, it looked like TT whipped his capital down from size 4 to size 2. Let's see if that boosted his power...

Yup, 3k increase (he is top power on 48k), so 4k Impi (surprise!) less 1k from whipping. Ruff got 2k for AH, which explains the total 5k rival power increase. Is that 5 Impis now? I guess the overflow from the whip will give him another pretty soon. But now his cities are at size 2 and 1 - not good for his economy.

Pegasus has 19 EPs invested in us which, based on the following Espionage screen, gives him 38 hammers in his capital.

And finally, the rice gives the blue dot city food in its first ring, but the tile configuration does mean it is no longer a coastal city. That's not really an issue, but it does mean we could conceivably move it 1W to grab one more unused grassland tile (instead of a desert hill) - on the downside that gives more overlap with black dot and potentially less production.

Time to start my day...

Another option is to move blue dot south into the fog and move red dot to 1E of the gems. But I suggest we scout out more of the area down there and then review, instead of doing a new dotmap every turn. lol

Next turn Big Slick switches to a worker, and Pocket Bullets whips the settler.

Next turn I would send this message to Ad Hoc, Pegasus and Ruff:
"We assume you've noticed, but TT is spamming Impis like there is no tomorrow."

I think he's up to 6 or 7 now.

Yeah, I did think that would be a good idea (I remember you mentioning recently). Unfortunately, my brainwave occurred after I sent the save. They must have figured it out, not least because his neighbours will likely have his graphs by now.

6 or 7?? Really? Wow. We should get ad hoc's graphs in the next few turns so we can switch to TT then. And then we can do a big fat analysis, woo.

I moved Seven onto the desert hill, and from there he had an interesting view. It seems like there are no land bridges in the south.

Back home, I was shocked to find our Jack of Clubs down a few hit points. Turns out he was attacked by a wolf on the interturn. Unconfirmed sources has it the wolf's name was Bob. In other news, noone finished the Oracle, and we got a forest growth. In my haste to play the save before my computer overheated, I forgot to check where the forest grew. EDIT: It was the plains hill east of the stone, third ring.

In our cities, Big Slick commenced a worker and Pocket Bullets hurried a settler. Oracle is next, unless someone builds it this turn. *Jinx*

I sent Impi warnings to our neighbours, also inquiring for NAPs with TT. Also, we now have a border agreement with Pegasus.
