My reporting has been kinda shit lately, but there isn't much to report, since we're pretty out of the race, even culture-wise, and waiting for Feudalism to come in anyway.
But let's get some updates in!
1. I traded for a map from...Wetbandit, I believe, for our own map. What it reveaked is: Sisu is Suttree's neighbor and he is the one who kicked his ass, WilliamLP has good land but is surrounded on all sides by potential enemies, Wetbandit has nice land but his chances of advancing are a bit small, Oxyphen is in a bad land position.
2. I met Oxyphen and will meet Suttree soon!
3. WilliamLP popped a Great Scientist and has built the Great Library.
4. Retep just started a Golden Age! Scary...I almost wonder if we might need to pop one to boost our research/production, even at the cost of an Artist.

I mean, if we get an unlucky roll and get a GP that's not an Artist, we could always burn him for a GA during our CV attempt.

I keep saying I need to update this with a larger update, but it keeps not happening...
Feudalism came in about 3 turns ago, I took a slight detour to Code of Laws because of the fact that, with one turn of 0% science, it only takes 3 turns to research, so that will come in next turn as well: I don't know if it will fully pay off in terms of maintanence, but higher EP would let us spend some on non-WilliamLP players and retain our civ-wide view of him.
Speaking of that, said civ-wide view revealed he has a lot of forces to his south, on the Wetbandit border, so he might not be going after us. We still need to build Longbows anyway, though, because of the fact that if we don't build some pre-emptive defenses, he could send them uphill and roll us over pretty easy.

So those WilliamLP forces are moving up. Maximum Catapult/Longbow production is in effect, fortunately he needs the Catapults so he can't double-move as effectively. Unfortunately, his forces are superior both in number and power, so we're probably screwed anyway or, at the least, we'll not be able to CV. But I'll fight for as long as I can, at least...assuming he even actually wardecs.
Also, researching Iron Working in the interest of Pikes if we last long enough, plus we could use it to turn horses into Knights if we had iron.

None of those units are promoted, so i'm pretty sure promotions are being saved for a battle. Perhaps we might want to fight them on open ground before most of those units promote, also they could probably very easily fork us so that could be a problem. Do we have any HAs to try and flank the Cat's away with withdraw promotion? One more thing can we get an overview of our own military?

I'll get an overview now but odds are we can't take them out on the field: Our strongest units by strength are Longbows (We do not have Horse Archers, as I prioritized Feudalism over it at the time. It did remind me to switch to it over IW with a war scenario going on, though). Even if we did, I count 8 Catapults, 12 Axemen, 2 Crossbowmen, 1 Macemen, 3 Camel Archers and 8 Horse Archers, so I don't think we'd have enough field units to take them on.
(Last city was working on a Courthouse, so I whipped it to put some overflow into military: Image needs to switch 2 Coast to 2 hills)
That's all the military that is notable: The rest is to the north, and a decent bit of it needs to stay there (XenuBrick is keeping an eye on the border), plus it is very far away to join.
(As you may have guessed, the Espionage in the first four images is a mistake I didn't feel like fixing until the end)

Does he have any Trieme's? If not we can probably have a pair of them pillage that triple clams resource and run out, before he can get up enough Triemes.

We have, IIRC, 3 Triemes. We can't reach the triple clams, though, unless we go around the end there, so he'd get enough in time easy.

HBR in 2T, he'll probably be at some of our city gates in 4T-5T (Depending on the target), we're kinda screwed but I am hoping we might chip units away so that by the time he hits our capital we can make a surprise rush to take back w/e cities he takes. Still gonna try to defend to my best, though.

Got offered this deal. Given our severe lack of using Marble the next 10T, I obviously accepted.
(Also, why can you offer war to an AI but not a human? Too bad)
The invading forces. You can see the defense of the city on the bar there, but 5 more units enter the city next turn (1 Longboe, 1 Axe, 1 Spear, 1 Catapult, 1 Archer). Catapults will of course suicide for collat when they get close enough.
Research path will be HBR -> Machinery -> Guilds or Engineering, depending.
Right now, everything is on production for Longbows and Catapults, mostly a round of Longbows, but when we get HBR I'll throw in Horse Archers, especially in our places that will only contribute by whipping every time it hits 4 pop due to distance, to try and get mobility and flanking, plus it gives us some possible counter attacking (He has no Spears and only 1 Mace).
