That's fine with you taking the second half of the timer. Please note that Nakor will also need to act in the second half of the timer for obvious reasons (he is joining the same war as you).

Ok, turn time: if Gold approves it's easy to do, so just let me know.

Plako war: plako, did you notice (because I didn't and your unit moves I think suggested you might not have) that we were not actually at war in game? lol

I DOW'd start of this turn after realizing that (first checked for like a UN resolution or something like that), but did so without checking for unit positions and it looks like I teleported your units out.

We didn't move anything in last turn, so from Zululand's perspective we would be ok with the war just starting now, but I know that isn't at all fair to you.

So, Gold, what do we do?

Erm... I've invested several hours into this turn already, and have engaged in a large number of battles with some good luck. I really don't think that can be fairly undone at this point.

Was it just a couple of units? I don't think it'll make as much difference as reloading dozens and dozens of battles and replaying several hours would.

For the record, I never noticed either.

Well, hopefully it was a very limited number of units affected and/or Plako doesn't mind too much. Even aside from the masses of undone combat results, I balk at the thought of replaying 4+ hours of the game. smile

The undone combat results I could live with, although it makes me squeamish, but the 4+ hours of playing makes me ill. I hate late game turns.

Can we pause this thing until plako chimes in, and we figure out some sort of reasonable solution?

Sure, I've paused it.

In my mind the optimal solutions are:

(1) Editing the units back - though I'm not sure this is even possible, and if it is I'd be nervous about whether editing that sort of stuff would accidentally disrupt anything else in the game.
(2) Playing on as-is - perhaps with Sunrise leaving all units in the relevant area stationary this turn so the exact same sequence of events can be replicated by Plako without Sunrise gaining an extra turn.

There really isn't any other way to approach this, IMHO. The thought of reloading and replaying everything that happened this turn frankly makes me a bit sick...

I'd like confirmation from Plako that things actually happened as I think they did, but we'd definitely be fine with just having T-Hawk or someone return the units to their spots adjacent our city.

EDIT: We're also obviously fine with letting the units just move back adjacent our city this turn and not moving anything there this turn, but I don't think that's really fair to China either...

lol I thought indeed we were at war. Do whatever you feel is fair. Those units aren't gonna make a big difference one way or the other. However I'd really like to getg 36h timer for a couple of coming turns.
