He has logged in at CFC since you talkd to him, but not posted anything. I'll give him another day or so, and hopefully CFC keeps ending their turns in the meantime.

Sigh, we have to ask for another admin next. It's been more than a week since Ceil posted and nothing... We need an admin that is able to react within a couple of days at most or at least give notice when s/he is unavailable.

Agree, but I'm hoping to get the clock fixed first. He is now aware and still inactive, which is worse than unaware.

Well in my PM conversation Rolo he did say that he had very little time to spare, I had half jokingly suggested him running a CK2 variant SG, along the lines of his old Civ 4 ones.
He also seems to be very much into the Paradox games as well. He's on there often enough.
Ah, well, at least I got him to check out the game.

Rolo has no interest in this game, we need someone that does, the sooner this is done the better.

Draft to the Admin Request thread:
Ten days ago I posted here and PMed Rolo, and have seen no response. He has logged in since then (and therefore seen the popup from my PM) but has taken no action.
It appears to me that this game is without an administrator. Caledorn, are you willing to set the pitboss timer to 36 hours on the strength of the previous vote?

Seems reasonable to xpost in the general anouncements thread as well, with appropriate links to the other. Not sure it will get any attention in the admin thread only.

I'd probably also pose a direct question to rolo about his involvement in the game too. From what he said to me he doesn't really have the time (or, perhaps more likely the inclination to take the time) to properly admin the game. Putting it up to him politely may be a good idea.

I received this yesterday evening (didn't notice I had the message until now, sorry):
PM over at Paradoxplaza

The situation at the time was the war between Civforum.de and WePlayCiv. That war is over, and the current war between CivFanatics and Spanish Apolyton should in reality be under the new turn timer based on the vote. If you wish me to change the turn timer, there is nothing that I can see that prohibits that decision now that would be unfair to anyone
I will await your response just so the changed turn timer request is absolutely 100% confirmed by you before I do anything So, and assuming you can relay this to the RB team, can you ask them why they are requesting this at this point ? I'm open to making the change, but I would like a concrete reason, since the situation changed from the time of the vote.
On the grammar ...well, actually I was following the game wording in that particular example ... ok, I forgot the commas or the italic to point out it was a quote, though :D
I'll post your message on to RB and see how the main players wish to respond.
I think the main issue with the turn timer was that the way the mod is set up warring factions get extra time on top of the initial timer, thus effectively doubling the timer every time a war is declared and tripling it every time there are two wars (especially if teams need their full timer allocation to play out turns). But this is a personal reading of our discussion, so it most definitely isn't official.
Hopefully I didn't overstep with my reply, and the grammar thing is irrelevant to the turn timer issue. I think the most important part is "I'm open to making the change, but I would like a concrete reason"

Sorry, but Rolo isn't following the game at all. The situation hasn't changed; turns take way too long when there's a war going on. That was the case last time, it is the case now, and it will be the case for any future turns that have an active war unless the timer is reduced.
We need an admin who is at least nominally interested in keeping the game going and who doesn't need two weeks of repeated messages to give a vague, noncommital answer to an issue that needs an admin ruling.
