I will be leaving town tonight and gone until 12/26. I will have my laptop to play turns, but would appreciate a pause if the timer gets low. The timer was extended in PB18, I don't think we need to do that here, but I would not be opposed to an infinite timer until after the new year if that makes life easier for others. Thanks.

I'll be around, so it doesn't matter to me. If people aren't going to be able to play quickly I have no problem extending it for a bit.

Sure thing, let's make it a general policy to pause the turn for stragglers until the end of the year, without need of any specific requests to do so. I think pausing when there are 5 hours or less left seems quite reasonable.

I've paused the game for myself because I'm incredibly sleep-deprived and needing to prepare for Christmas, and it seems like several wars have started since I last played so I probably shouldn't phone it in. I'll get to it as soon as I can. Might be before the pause would have mattered, might not.
