Man now we have a real decision. The safer path is to wait for Swords or HA and just choke for now. Maybe send an Axe/Spear pair north to mess with them. I just don't like a 50/50 flip when the penalty for losing is so high.

Yeah, I think I'd rather not go for a 50:50 shot here.

What I'm least sure about in my previous post is when those other Axes can arrive. If we can get them there in time, that'd be my favourite option hammer

Failing that I guess choke, harass their other cities & work towards better units is the sensible thing to do.

Axes finish this turn and can attack Losing on T58 in case we can move both of there (I'm pretty certain we can't move both of them there).

However we've 12 food in the box and could whip axe from Bitter on T55 that could attack Losing on T57. 4 Axes+ spear against 2 Archers is worth a shot. We just need to keep them out of utilising Deer tile and also potential to keep the city that has just grown.

And to check the Wheat - I think they've probably run their Workers away but if they haven't then they might grow a turn earlier than anticipated.

If we get 4Axes + Spear I say we go for it.

Sounds good to me, although I wonder what the actual odds are.
If you know what I mean.

My gut feeling is 60-70%. 1st fights are 5-10% range so variance is high and we might had to give up after 2-3 fights in case we don't get enough hits in.

Pling are you sure that food box is 20. I had to check, but I tought it was 22 for growing to size 2. That would delay their growth with 1T assuming they've just 2 food tiles available and would enable having 1 extra Axe to support before they get 3rd Archer there.

You're right.

Coulda sworn I'd checked, but obviously not. Have just now looked in a game and it's 22. So we have an extra turn.

Shouldn't Bitter be building an axe so we can whip it when it hits size 2?

I concur with a settler build in Bloody Mary. And I guess we're building a worker next in the capital?
