Can you share the communication you had with Rolo? He still hasn't replied here after three weeks!

Brian, thank you for your detective work. I don't think any more PMs on the Paradox Forum would be helpful in resolving the timer issue, or help us make a case to other teams for an admin replacement.

Can you copy any other PMs you got/get from Ricardo here for transparency?

Rolo probably should let the community know (publicly) that he is looking into it ... but I think PMing the host of the game is 100% the right thing to do. As for Caledorn's response - I think that is also 100% appropriate. When one person is fulfilling two (or more) roles, it can and does put them in a difficult situation.

This is the place R_Rolo1 set up to conduct admin business, right? I'm assuming that he contacted you in your game host role and not as an active CFC member. Its a pity he hasn't been more open regarding his activities on this as it does appear that he is acting as the titular game admin.

I agree with the utility of PMs on the Paradox Forum. It's only because the situation had gotten so extreme in the first place that I suggested the contact via external PMs.

Regarding further game relevant PMs, I'll post them as soon (well five minutes) as I see them.

I support your message, Ceiliazul. But I agree with Ruff that you should only bash R_Rolo, not Caledorn, since it's the former who is behaving completely off of what he should be doing. C'mon, the game admin communicating via PMs when he didn't say anything about the issue publicly? His ruling against the German team was also unbelieveably bad.

I'd say you should press to take Rolo out of his role, even if we can't find a new one. The guy is a bigger accident waiting to happen than a democracy between all the teams in the game. Besides, if hell breaks loose between the teams, Rolo won't be able to do anyhting to change the situation. So, getting him out of the game will just avoid problems, not create any new ones (since he won't be able to solve any problems, anyway).

I agree with Ichabod here. I feel we are better off with no admin than with r_rolo.

I have to agree with Ichabod as well. Plako is the map-maker for this, all the teams had some trust in him. If he's up for it, I think we should push for him to become the admin.

That said, I think if r_rolo steps down as admin, then I'd really prefer if at least the call for a new admin would come from another team, and I'd like to see if some other team is ready to nominate someone.

Plako would make a very good admin, but he's also connected to our team, so I think us pushing for him might not be the best move on our part. Also, we have a better shot at getting a simpler and more narrow proposal through.
