Brilliant - I feel like Genghis Khan's mate who got told first whenever Genghis razed a city! I've got pretty lost with what score changes were whips, but there hasn't been an obvious city razed or captured on Civstats...
I'm confused and pleased by the lack of roads south of Achilleus - it means the chariots should get plenty of warning of spears.
Your plan to advance Achilleus and Lesser Ajax sounds perfect (Achilleus first in case of spears?) and the workers should build that road asap! (Don't forget the road on the desert takes an extra turn to build, so you could send Ishtar down to help out?)

What happens if azza doesnt play his turn? we're waiting on us, him, and cfc atm. we basically have to pause the turn and announce to the whole world that we're waiting on him (and hence, at war with him). oh well, I guess if they are paying attention to civ stats they'd realize it anyway.
How about asking him (by PM?) when he's going to be able to play? There was some talk of playing after 12 hours have elapsed being okay, but I think I'd rather have him say when he'll get a chance to log in...

ah, I didn't even know roads cost more on a desert. thats a good idea to bring ishtar in for a turn. delaying the mine for a turn won't hurt too much.
here's my theory on the roads.. he just discovered the wheel (well according to Harry, but makes perfect sense). he had 2 workers up to improve the critical birds of tokyo. I think most of his production was used on settlers, he hasn't done much whipping (at least not his capital, probably just whipped granaries in his 2nd and 3rd city, maybe not even that). So how many workers could he possibly have? maybe 3? maybe just those 2? possibly 4, but I bet he only has 1 worker left who may not even be near his capital. so we have likely crippled his ability to improve his emopire by taking those 2 workers.
with worker will be out in front if they both move tthis turn, then they'll meet togethor on the same forest tile the following turn. I wouldnt be surprised to see his capital defended by 4-5 warriors, lol. if there are spears or archers, of course, we won't be able to take it :/.

My recommendation would be to just pause, or ask him like you were saying. If you didn't want to "out" yourselves (though it is fairly obvious from CivStats for any teams that may be following that), you could ask one of us lurkers to post something in the IT thread

ok. I wasn't concerned about everyone knowing for the benefit of the team - serdoa will know ingame since he has made contact with both of us, and the rest of the teams are mostly irrelevant. I was more concerned about breaking the spirit of the "no diplomacy" rule. but you give good advice, Ill send him a pm soon and follow your advice if he doesnt play in time .

ok, running through what I think our moves should be this turn, so if Azza plays when lewwyn isn't around I can do the turn. comments welcome.
1 odysseus (scout) heals in place for the final turn before resuming scouting next turn
2. Gilgamesh (warrior) moves SW onto the PFH next to billy talent
3. Achilleus moves one south into the fog. there may be something waiting for us, but this way we risk a warrior instead of a chariot.
4. if all is safe, lesser ajax moves into the spot achilleus was at
5. greater ajax promotes to combat 1 and heals in place.
6. briseis and chryseis 1-turn a road where they are (SW, SW or the odyssey)
7. ishtar puts 1 turn into a mine, then cancels the order so she can be ready to 1-turn the desert next turn
8. casandra finishes her cottage
9. penelope and helen should, I think, be on road duty near the capital. they can 1 turn a road 1 north to completely connect Gilgamesh and the Odyssey (not for trade routes, obviously, but for a faster path for the chariot coming out of Gilgamesh). alternatively, one of them could build the road (just make sure to finish it next turn before hte chariot moves) while the other moves down to theOdyssey to help develop that city?
10. gilgamesh and iliad (cities) left alone. iliad will grow into unhappiness and switch to a settler next turn. gilgamesh will complete its chariot, and probably start another (depending on what we see in azza's capital next turn). theOdyssey can whip a chariot this turn. This will result in 18 turns of unhappiness (8 at 2, 10 at one) I still think we should do it, we need to strike fast while we have a big advantage. we can work the mines in the area and not the corn if necessary to avoid growth at level 3.
11. Nestor (northern most chariot) moves SW, SW onto the plains hill, advancing towards Billy Talent.
pictures!
demos:
azza is #1 in MFG and population, that should change soon
edit correction: apparently we have passed azza in population, so someone else has pulled ahead of us :/
power graph looking better:
I believe this is the turn we captured the workers, before our second chariot was produced.
azza is still well ahead of us in MFG and crop yield, I believe he must be number one in both. thats another reason i think he can only produce warriors, with that crop yield and MFG his power rating would be shooting through the roof if he could produce metal units.
top 5 cities:
lurkers, let me know if there are any other pictures you want, I'll take requests

You can relax。Azza is in my tz so he was asleep。he's likely waking up now。。。 We will have plenty of time。

I think we should move achillies SW so that it can see over water. It can then move SE back onto the forest as necessary. Also, lesser Ajax should probably go onto the desert hill for more vision. Greater ajax might want to go SE SE so that next turn it can pillage the pigs. Even if its injured doing that quickly will be a big help. We'll decide that when we see the game though.
Azza played, going in to see.
