Did some Arena runs on my birthday.
10-3. This Deck didn't have a strong enough middle game to go 12 wins, but the late game with double Fire Elemental, Commander, Ogre and Champion was very strong and double Dark Iron Dwarf was able to very much hold the fort. Earth Elemental also continues to be awesome even if it limits your plays after. Biggest sadness is that I had to choose Unbound Elementals for 3s, but had little overload.
8-3. The two Unbound Elementals would have been amazing here! My middlegame was quite potent, especially with 2x Cult Master + Totems and 2x Spellbreaker surrounded by strong 4s and Doomhammer + Spiteful Smith is certainly fun, but the late game was sad: Nightblade and Harpy being swapped out for at least one more Fire Elemental and maybe a Stormwind Champion would have been very nice. Pretty good opening game.
1-3. Extremely dissapointing as I got Ysera, King Mukla and my favorite, Lord Jaraxxus, but the rest of the draft had horrible options that forced me to do stuff like Voodoo Doctor over Goldshire Footman. I was forced to select Succubus later on just for some more 2 drops and the late game was pretty pathetic aside from the legendaries. My only natural taunt was Booty Bay Bodyguard, which sucked. So despite 3 good Legendaries I went 1-3.

Yeah, legendaries are OP! You deserved 0-3 with that crap deck....
Did you choose warlock for fun/variety/experience or were the other two class options even worse/more boring? (What were they?)
I've had extremely disappointing arena runs with warlock myself, I'd only pick it if I was in the mood for some evilness and the other picks were priest and hunter...

Took a long time, but after a couple days of not playing I managed to get a pretty good draft and record my first 12 wins in arena. My rogue went 12-2 with quite a few lucky games which generally came down to top decking. Fortunately every time this happened I got Stormwind Champion out with a Imp Master or a Razorfen Hunter etc.
Probably one of the most generic decks you could field, I think I had 27 commons and 3 rares, the quality of the cards was above average but nothing to indicate that it would be my best run yet.
Not much gold as a reward but I did get this.

I didn't know 12 wins gave you the chance of winning a legendary card. GZ!

The other picks were Hunter (Which I'd only pick if I had a larger gold reserve) and Rogue (Which I find very swingy to draft). I find Warlock isn't bad but it does suck with some bad class cards (Summoning Portal, Succubus) that it can get you in trouble. Mostly went for it because Warlock's Hero Power is very strong and I enjoy playing Warlock even if I'm not the best at it. Then I got stuff like Wisp vs. Goldshire vs. Voodoo Doctor...

Hunter vs. Warlock: I can understand that, but over Rogue? Rogue has a lot of amazing cards (Eviscerate, Backstab, SI:7 Agent), and your hero power is a good one. Not as good a class as Paladin or Mage, but definitely the 3rd or 4th best class for Arena IMO.

I'd say about half the time I draft Rogue I get some of the good class cards like SI:7 Agent and not the appropriate cards to activate Combo, like Deadly Poison and Backstab and such, so it becomes problematic. Rogue is good but I find it is surprisingly easy for a draft to go poorly. For just generic card drafts, I prefer the Warlock hero power to the Rogue hero power (Warlock is my #2 hero power).

Admittedly I suck at Warlock. But is Voodoo Doctor even that bad in a warlock arena deck? It's a little bit like a slightly more flexible 3 mana loot hoarder.
I'm getting better at rogue. I like to play hunters but it seems the only way to do well is to get a deck that can abuse beasts and Unleash the Hounds. I had a 10 win deck that could start with T2: Snake Trap. Then T3: Starving Buzzard, Coin, Unleash the Hounds. This combo always got me tons of cards.
I try to never play Mage, Paladin, Druid, Shaman since I like the underdog might classes.
