How are relations with WarriorKinght? I know that there is a nap in place but have things been anything else other than frosty?

T90

Gtg founded and finished Mathematics. Next Currency. We'll have 3 more settlers on short notice. It is finally time for Horse city and I think I'll settle the choke points in the NE and NW.

It seems too peaceful on our side of the world... really.

For some reason I want to see what's going on with Locke. Maybe shoot the breeze about Mackoti and Luddite or their border with Nakor, try and see if they need anything from us because we are such nice guyz.

Yes we've NAPs with all of our neighbours except Rego. The one with WarriorKnight is ending on T110 that actually ins't that far. However I don't think I've the tools to attack at that time.

Some other things:
* We're currently #2 in GNP. Not sure who is #1.
* At some point we should negotiate with Rego about our border and use our OB with him as a bargaining chip.

I'm thinking about our tech path also. Happy cap is badly limiting our growth currently. Markets will help a bit in that respect, but then we could go towards Monarchy that would 1st open temples and then Hereditary Rule or alternatively towards Metal Casting and Forges giving 2 happy from silver and gold.

edit. I also think we probably should build Moai in the Brb and start right now. Getting it to a city not yet founded takes ages especially when we don't have Stone. Probably ~50T when we could get it in ~10T to Brb.

HR will give you the most happy and allow for a few core cities to get really big working cottages building the base for mid-game teching. HR can be expensive once you start paying gold for those troops though. Temples will be useful but it is cheaper to build HR units for now freeing up hammers to be used on other projects (settler/workers/granaries etc...)

Metal Casting unlocks forges that will go up in every city eventually but there is probably more benefit in the happy from HR still.

Maybe go to Monarchy then MC??

This pretty much corresponds my thinking at the moment i.e. Monarchy->MC I'll research also Meditation and Priesthood on my way. We just have quite alot of hammers so it might be better just to build Temples and save some gold from unit upkeep or concentrate the units on our border cities.

Also I'll probably start growing Asl and Tyvm to size 8 and convert to Judaism after one of them get there.

Have you considered keeping 1 city disconnected from copper to build cheap warriors for MP? I see the beavers are connected at Cya and so you'll only be able to build spears, axes or archers (if you have archery) otherwise.

Not a bad thing per se since those units will all be useful doing other things too whereas the warriors won't...

All our cities are connected to Copper so warriors are not an option.

I've been considering whether to do a side step to Archery. They would be useful also in defense since they counter reasonably well both Chariots and Axes and obvivously would be also cheaper military polices freeing spears and Axes on other duties.

Ah ok - I was thinking that a land locked city wouldn't be connected - for example - c2 in the T90 shots (the city yet to be founded south of the capital) That city could build 1t warriors easily so long as you don't road it onto the network.
