SevenSpirits Wrote:Hi again Xenu, your warrior isn't welcome here either. Nevertheless I'll give you a chance to escape the axe squad. If your warrior hugs the mountain range and beelines it back to your land, his life will be spared. I would rather continue to peacefully defog land with my units than get a measly 1xp.

He followed the mountains to head back home. Just make sure Mackoti is aware of this amnesty plan and sticks to it or I'll have to believe I've been duped.

HAK - I had to attack Bubba. He came too close. What would you say about truce? We wouldn't send units towards each other and maybe agree upon settling. It seems that this game is more peaceful than I thought and there are many playing it like no-AW game. I think we need to follow the suite to do well here.

Lord Parkin nice to meet you, now turn around there is nothing more to see here wink.

Cool, just came across your borders and wondered if we might meet you this turn or next. Don't worry - we have no particular desire to be hit over the head with medkits, so we'll be on our way soon enough. wink

Sorry, Mackoti logged in before I ...

No, I'm just a jerk. (In this game. Since we are supposed to be.) Honestly the possibility of double-moving makes a warrior near our borders too dangerous to tolerate.

I don't recall the game settings requiring anyone to be a jerk, and I'm not calling you one. I understand the double-move threat, but having accepted your offer I was moving as you requested, not toward your city. If you intended to attack no matter what it would have been better to say nothing and just attack rather than lying in a public diplo thread. Well, you got your 1xp anyway. Nice job. thumbsup

No, you didn't have to attack. He was just wandering around. You could have just asked him to leave, which is what he was about to be doing anyway if you hadn't double-moved him in order to kill him. frown

You've already been scouting there. Why do you need to rescout? Just 2 tiles from my capital is way too close when there is also worker around that I need to cover.

Mali, sorry I've been slow to respond, but thanks for sharing your proposed settling plan for that river valley.

I'm OK with your proposed city and also OK with the resources and tiles you agreed to cede to Egyptian control. I may not plant on the exact tile you recommended though, but I also won't plant for overlap with your city.

Does that sound reasonable?

I am referring to this:

Quote:Public player thread allowed right from the beginning. No any other format of diplomacy. Everyone can suggest and talk about anything they like in the thread. However no deal made is valid in any court wink. Biggest deal breaker of the game should be prized not condemned.

I feel bad about it though. Let me know if there's a way I can try to make it up to you, perhaps by providing some map information about HitAnyKey who tried to kill our scout?

Primarily this is Always war game. No one should feel guilty about killing someone elses units or eating their word. It is part of the format. Please note that Sevenspirits is very clever. There is a decent chance his remorse is just a ploy to get Xenu lower his defenses.
