AP brings no profit to us yet, so 1 turn doesnt make too much sense. We chopped it hard anyway. I put monasteries almost everywhere.
Still not sure that we are heading to the same goal scheme of improvements. Dont hesitate building some more farms. And those forests are to be chopped right now.
Have put iron working on 95%.
I rejected OB with Furungy but may be we should just to have diversification of trade routes.

No we probably aren't; I was trying to follow the notes in the cities for Workers to build Cottages. Other than that I tend to balance Farms & Mines, but with the Mining ban in place improving city connections seemed a good use of Worker turns.
Oh, meant to put a note about the Workboat: if we want to use it to meet mackoti then we need to swing through Joey's canal city, round the South of that continent and then up the East, this gets us round and into mackoti's SE.

AP is ours, bringing us not even a single hammer. But I slaved the first monastery this turn, chopped another and we will have at least 5 monasteries within next 3 turns.
I am thinking about making Hagia Sofia at our wonder city, though might make us to chop deers and furs to get it in reasonable time. Detail planning required. We can try to get Machinery 3 turns and start building watermills. Watermills give 2 production instantly in this mode, but takes plenty of worker turns.

Dtay has launched GA and converted bureau and pacifism. He has +393 gold per turn currently. Unfortunately he got 2 cities with christianity already. In mod we have lost most of advantages of having own religion but he can use full advantages of AP.
I decided to delay planting southern city and to use 3rd circle chops of Wunderbar for HS.

Several workers will be shared to build watermills. So I dont want to whip religion buildings.
And settler goes for "x-later" spot.

There is an option to plant it on the hill but it has several cons:
- the forest can be chopped later after borders expands,
- less coastal tiles
- need to lose 1 more turn travelling
2-3 turns till machinery.

Looks good to me.
I note an Iron in each of those shots, is there another one somewhere less vulnerable / out of the way?
I guess the plan is: Religious buildings - Economic buildings - profit?
Are we hiring Priests at Wunderbar to push out a Great Profit for the Shrine? What about a mixed GP in Maryland for our GA?

Dtay doesnt have iron working yet, but it is a matter of 1/4 of turn for his current research. We cant afford losing cities anyway, so we must do our bests to keep what we have.

I think it will take too much time to get 100% great prophet. We will push something mixed there with high chance of prophet later. In Maryland we can get great person but now we are too low on pop to run golden age. It will be good to combine some later revolution with our first GA. Too early now.

So I went in to take a look around and was faced with this:
I wasn't sure and then I checked and Hagia Sofia is a Marble wonder so I went ahead and accepted.
I fiddled with some stuff but didn't feel I had enough connection with your Worker plans to go ahead and play the full turn - hope that's OK.

This is our Christmas gift
Are you sure you cant finish it? I dont have a plan because of new circumstances that we can start watermills soon. In general we need just 1-2 workers for building cottages. Others must advance to the best watermill placements. 1 worker for the new city/settler.

Sure, I can probably do "Head for the rivers & prepare to Watermill".
I was thinking of whipping the Temple in Wunderbar and sending the overflow into HS next turn (skipping the Monastery build); sound reasonable?
Edit cross post, but I guess I'm on the mark...
