Returning from the abyss, I signed up to be (yet another) casual player over there.

That should be no problem - we had at least two players in our CFC demogame team who didn't even own Civ 4 (only Civ 3...), but they still added to the discussion nicely when it came to overall strategy, diplomacy etc.

Wow, you never know who's lurking around here! First Gyathaar pops up in response to a mention of his savegame editor, then Locutus pops up to help with an Apolyton forum user.

 Thanks for the invite; I'll follow along as a lurker, but I'm a bit too far out of the loop on BTS to really belong as a team member. Not my place to give advice on a game I haven't even got. 8)

This sounds like a fun idea.
Since we seem to have a shortage of turn players, I can sign up as one, assuming we can get at least one or two others, if everybody is ok with a complete newbie playing turns. How much responsibility does a turn-player's job involve? (I can commit to one or two evenings a week, but not much more than that.)

I also signed up, so now we just need a leader.
(I saw that half of existing turn players have names starting with Z and decided that I just had to join the company. )

Hi,
okay, so it looks like we'll be able to get enough players to form a team! Very nice.
From what I read on the Apolyton forums, we need a team email address and a team icon. If we have both, we get our own, private subforum at Apolyton. Anyone up to create an icon?
Oh, and how do we want to call ourselves? Simply "(Team) Realms Beyond"? Or "The Real Mrs. Beyond", as in the SGOTM games? (I loved that!  )
