I'm still alive, just not updating much. I got Sailing last turn and now I'm heading onto writing. In a few turns I might not be in last place anymore. :dancing5:



Food is getting better each turn. GNP still needs some work but need to fix the food problem first. Hopefully by the time t110 comes my military will be up there as well.

Hmmm, it's been a while so I guess I better update.

I'm heading for HBR. I have little doubt that plako will attack me when our NAP ends and I need something decent to defend myself with. If it turns out that he doesn't attack for whatever reason, I'll probably attack him anyway since I won't be able to do much of anything without some of my core lands back. I'm not very optimistic about my chances either way but waiting simply isn't an option since my GNP sucks, and if I'm going to die it might as well not be prolonged.

Right now I'm trying to get Lord Parkin and Nakor involved so it isn't just 1v1 on t110. Unfortunately I'll probably be facing the majority of plako's forces even if they do get onboard, but it'll hopefully even the odds a little bit.

Anyone have any questions/requests?

No idea ATM. HBR should be in around t97-98 so I'll have around 10 turns to build as many HA's as I can and move them to the front.

This turn I got my 7th city settled, moved up to 8th place in score and am 6th in food. I'll also get 3 pop next turn so things are finally coming together. Lord Parkin was kind enough to send me his spare gold (which will be extremely helpful, really grateful for it ) so my happy cap is now 8 (9 in cap).

I've had Judaism and Buddhism spread to me naturally but it's not worth switching to either religion. The culture is a very nice boost though. Wish it would spread to my newer cities so I don't have to build monuments so early to get the border pop.

Thanks to Argos's borders expanding to get a crab, I'm now 5th in food and also finally have an above average population. Maybe I won't be forced to declare on plako when our NAP runs out (still going for HBR in case plako declares or I actually can do a successful attack).

Things are looking up, but it really depends on what plako does on t110. Nakor has an NAP past that date, so he's unable to help. That just leaves Lord Parkin, who I hope will be able to do something by then, although he's already mentioned that it'll be hard to get a force ready since he's in the northern hemisphere.

The mackoti vs luddite war is nice since the two of them are dragging each other down. Since it's on the opposite side of the world though it really doesn't concern me since I have my own problems.

sigh, plako's up to 13 cities and has currency, while I'm chugging along at 40% science with 7 cities and barely enough decent room for 9. I'm not really sure what to do anymore other then build as many HA's as possible and wait until my NAP expires.

I don't like my odds, as he's clearly 1st in everything and has started building up his army. The tactical situation is tough, as I have a 3 city front with him, while if I'm lucky he'll have two. If I somehow manage to take tyvm back then I'll claim a mini-victory. If plako's paying attention it's not going to be happening though.

What's your tech path after Masonry? You've got almost all the basic techs out of the way at this point, so there's lots of options.

I'll probably limp to Monarchy for HR, then maths. Haven't thought where to go after that, depends on how the war goes I guess.
