"Team Hipster - You Probably Haven't Heard Of Us"

These both made me laugh. I like them both. lol

I guess you missed this! :neenernee

It'd be cool to have a general theme and then allow variations for each civ. For example, if oledavy wants to do "We Didn't Start the Fire" he could and the other two civs would pick a theme around heat/fire etc. I'm also liking "Real Men of Genius" though, which doesn't fit fire as much. Not that it would be a bad thing to have a completely unrelated city naming scheme.

More importantly, though, we need to pick primary turn players for each civ. I know we'd talked about it before, but an offical tally should be made.

Sorry!

VOTE RECOUNT!!!! (Not the 2000 Election Variety lol)

Votes

France - 3 votes (Myself, Dazed and Scooter)
England - 2 votes (WK and Shoot)

This leaves only Ilios to vote. If we have a tie, I believe we should leave it up to the primary turnplayer(s) for that civ.

@Dazed - Do we want to have one person do the moves for all three civs? Or each person login and move 'his' civ?

I would like to claim Gandhi of France/England lol

Dazed, which one are you looking at?

We can have players play each other's civs but the expectation I got from the planning thread is that each civ should have one primary player or primary set of players. I.e. You can cover for me when I'm out of town, but if I drop out, I'll need a replacement. Personally, I need to be a primary player or I lose interest too quickly.

I'm pretty open to playing any of the three civs. India is probably my least favorite but I'd be willing.

Agreed, I feel the same way

Which is your favorite? lol

Consider that a tactful, "No preference." I'm playing Rome in another game so I guess if forced, I'd prefer France.

Civ Preferences:

Gandhi the Stick Figure of the French/English - Oledavy, Dazed
Genghis the Insecure of the Romans -
Pacal the Annoying of the Indians -

btw, team, what threads do we need to start?

I'm assuming one for each civ at the very least

Ideas for Others

Fishing For Lurkers Thread
Cloak & Dagger Work Thread
General Strategy Thread
Opponent Evaluation Thread
Trash Talking Our Opponents Thread rolleye

I forgot that you requested Gandhi, so that's totally cool with me. I'll take Genghis or Pacal.

In terms of thread, I'd be most inclined to keep it simple. One for each civ and one additional for cooperative discussion. Too many threads will actually make it more confusing to me.

FWIW Gandhi of England/France is so tight on votes that I think it might be best to just let the Gandhi primary turn-player choose. After all, it's their civ.

Also... Whoever most enjoys micro'ing workers the most (and/or is best at it) should take India.
