Alright! Got my two cities in so time for an update:
Looking good, looking good. Wetbandit has 2 axes lurking around so I had to pull some work to get two axes and an archer in the area. Not a problem though, as I needed more military. Kinda unfortunate to stretch so far out from the capital but grabbing this land is vital.
Daisy is a fucking great city, and the main reason is that gives me the perfect staging tile. The culture of Uxmal/Mayapan won't touch the circled tile, so I'm free to control that, and can fork both cities from that tile very easily.
Pics are old, so I knew this for awhile, but I don't have recent scouting and their city counts have stayed consistent. So uhhh highlands map. But everyone's on a 3 man island. Uhhh okay. Someone needs to ban commodore from making decisions with regards to maps.
Also old as hell so ya'll know this but lmfao. Yuri lost a city to barbs... I did see him walking around here with a holkan and a settler (or maybe it was just a settler/scout? I can't remember) so I knew he planted here and that it was vulnerable. Yuri clearly went with maya so he could hook up copper super late but I think he might have learned his lesson...
