[few spoilers] Fortified settling party Boldly Going Nowhere, dies in place.

Burn and replant 1S on my side of the river for easier defense. But I don't think this is happening immediately.

Gawdzak killed my chariot. I thought he might. He's wasting worker turns, I'm wasting hammers. He wins this round. But I went ahead and moved my axe in anyway and 2-pop whipped a spear to overflow into another axe in the next two turns. Good luck chopping any of those forests or improving your resources. smile

Settler(s) redirected toward new, not entirely highlighted sites.

Blah.

Two diplo offers this turn. First was a peace offer from Gawdzak. I decleind that. I'm not giving him ten turns to freely improve his border city and chop everything. I moved up my new spear as a show of my intent.

I accepted this offer. I've unfogged a route to one of Nyles' cities. Turns out it was him that won the coinflip for Buddhism. He's had a nice bump on the culture screen in the last couple of turns and no wonders have fallen (seriously). Not even Stonehenge.

I founded city #4. Welcome Lubbock. My lonely worker is going to improve the gems, then the rice. Also seen, more barbs doing what barbs do. City #5 will found next turn. The settler is 1W of the axe and I have two workers ready to improve the pigs immediately.

Just played cross-eyed. Pretty sure I finished my turn. If not, someone log in and finish for me. Password is walter.

Once again, if someone wants this civ they can have it. Still not feeling this game and life is getting a little busier. That said, I'm happy to make Gawdzak keep whipping units. I've now lost two units but he's had to slow his growth significantly to deal with my harassment so I'm satisfied with the expense. I'm starting to wonder what the other teams are doing though. Someone ought to be shining brightly assuming that 1) someone else is doing a decent micro job and 2) isn't bordering an asshole neighbor like me who will put the brakes on reckless expansion.

Still no wonders built. Okkkk....

Oh. G offered peace after killing my axe with his immortal. He got way better odds than I had assumed but it's fine. #casual

Note for the future: if you really want peace it won't be after you kill my unit without giving me a chance to draw equal blood. I like chaos more than boring losing.

The RNG is unkind sometimes. Ha!

T75 Extravaganza!

Somehow the civ.ini file reset to default and flying camera was disabled for this big turn report soooo... this is it!

Here's what you've missed: I've fought off a couple waves of barbs, I've traded hammers with Gawdzak (mostly losing my own) and have slowed his growth curve a bit more than my own. That's just about everything.

How did you slow his growth curve a bit more than your own?

He has not built a city in quite a while and has had to build many units. He has a power lead on me. I'm sure he would rather have used those hammers for workers and settlers. I wasn't keeping up in pure expansion (jungle vs. forests didn't help) but our stats are closer now than they would have been at this point if I hadn't harassed him.

Mostly though I've wanted something to do because I didn't like his city plant. So permawar! neenerneener
