Turn 106
The barb city falls and Brick already has an archer an settler to claim a new city one tile north of the barb city.
Meanwhile, my great general arrives at Plex Anthill. This is my most productive city; at size 8 with a temple it gets 24 hammers/turn, so I'm settling the GG here. Double promo for all land units and City Garrison III archers out of the box.
Turn 108:
I see a weakly defended city and attack like a mad dog, knowing that BGN's fighting Brick at the same time and thinking the war will end quickly. The lone defender is none other than Walter White.

Turn 109:
I find Amarillo completely undefended. Doesn't stay that way for long, though.
Turn 110:
BGN ferries over a spearman to defend.
Farmington is similarly undefended, but I can't reach it this turn. I stupidly moved one forward to look into the city, leaving the protection of the spear. I took the first half of the turn timer, so he might be able to whip a spear in Farmington if he has some hammers put into one already.

Turn 111:
I fight BGN and take out a chariot and spearman, and then offer peace for Farmington.
He did not accept and by turn 112, he gets more than enough units into the city to hold it; I don't have a screen or remember exactly what they were.
Turn 113:
I see a Trireme and start to realize that maybe this war was a bad idea. Triremes mean he's got full control of the seas and I can't stop him from wrecking my fishing boats or landing troops without making an asston of galleys to take down his triremes. He's got better tech, better units and a better economy.
Turn 114:
I notice Mr. Cairo's power going off the charts; this would be very scary if he was a neighbor

Turn 117:
I start to get even more worried about BGN when he shows a Cho-Ko-Nu.
Turn 119:
Two galleys appear on the horizon, and I have no Triremes and nowhere near enough galleys to deal with anything. He's forking 3 cities from the square he's sitting on; able to hit Drunktown, Anvil of Man and Academy Park in two turns.

Turn 120:
The galleys go south, forking 2 cities now.
Turn 121:
BGN disembarks on the +75% defensive bonus forest hill tile which I stupidly left unchopped on the coast next to a city . I am able to get a more than ample garrison into the city: a City Garrison III archers, a chariot, an axe, a sword and a spear.
Turn 122:
I complete the Mahabodhi in Plex Anthill, having sent the prophet straight there after he spawned from Alpha Prime.
Meanwhile, the galleys blockade me and the units stay put on the hill.
Turn 123:
The Black Sword, subbing for BGN, loads the units back into the galleys and appears to start a retreat.
Turn 124:
BGN offers terms for peace.
After rejecting the original terms, I look at the map and see that he's gone back on the offensive with the galleys. I can defend just Academy Park from that stack, but it gets harder if he starts roaming about in the north and possibly pillaging my villages that I've put so many turns into. I don't really have anything that can take down the Cho-Ko-Nus without huge casualties. I offer all 112 of my gold instead, which is almost more than I had to, but less than what was asked (a total of 185 after 10 turns).

Turn 125:
Stitch for T125. I have 11 monsters: Jormungandr, Satyr, Werehyena, Ceyrneian Hind, Kraken, Waldgeist, Monstro, Ogre, Xiezhi, Dryad, and Bayard.
Demos are all garbage.
AT gets Temple of Artemis, which is normally not that popular but very good in this case since he has The Great Lighthouse.

Turn 126:
I found a filler city now that I finally have the jungle tiles cleared out. Named it Svobodny.
One turn after the monster count was due (sry for late post) I steal The White Whale from Yuri with culture from my holy city.
I also notice that BGN is losing cities, apparently to Gawdzak. If I had known about that situation I definitely would have offered way less gold to get him off my back.
Turn 127:
BGN is really getting decimated. I may be able to take Farmington and/or Beijing from him before it's over with.
Turn 130:
Yuri's power level is getting problematic. He was last to end turn before this particular turn and didn't double move, so either he's at war already or planning to attack somebody.

Lots of fun war turns to report on, but I'll report on that tomorrow. right now I'll just post my stitch for the monster count before I forget:
12 monsters: Dryad, Xiezhi, Bayard, Kraken, Ogre, Werehyena, Satyr, Monstro, Waldgeist, Jormungandr, Ceryneian Hind and The White Whale.

Dreylin offers Open Borders, I declined and re-offered.
Turn 132
Dreylin completes another wonder one turn after finishing Statue of Zeus.
Turn 133
Turns out Yuri's at war with Brick.

Turn 134
Brick is losing. When Yuri attacked him, I decided that I needed to use the advantage I already had by controlling the eastern sea and having vision on two of his cities and capitalize on his attack on Brick by taking a bite out of Germany.
BGN, who is under attack by both AT and Gawdzak, the score leader, offers me 1 gold for a peace treaty so he doesn't have to worry about me while he defends himself. I accept because keeping BGN from being conquered, or at least, from being conquered easily, is in my best interest to keep Gawdzak or AT from getting too much farther ahead.
Turn 135
Ramping up sword production.
Turn 136
Yuri's not naming his cities, so Harappan is obviously a captured barb city and Millionaire, Antarctica, Undertaker and Helicopter were Brick cities; he's down to 5 now. I cannot sit on ass and let Yuri consolidate his gains.

Turn 137
I finally get currency which takes my economy out of the shitter (for now).
Turn 138
Yuri's offensive army seems to be composed almost exclusively of horse archers; I assume that since the garrisons of his cities I have vision on stay constant, but occasionally have a horse archer on top of it when I play first. Also, HAs moving in Brick's general direction like the one pictured.
Turn 139
For one brief, shining moment I have the #1 GNP in the world (part of that is from culture so it's misleading, but I'll take it)
