Thank for the several fixes so far, as well as the quick responses. If nothing else, this gets me through my wife's birthday without having to figure out my start. party

I just logged in, it's there. And if you check the settings page the filename is listed as something like "final_versionx99999" which makes me think this might actually be the last final version. Once the odometer rolls over into six digits the warranty expires and the whole machine goes tits up immediately. So we better make this version last.

Does anyone know how to get Civ to always load the same profile? I accidentally deleted the one I'd used for years a few weeks ago, and ever since then about half the time I start Civ 4 it loads the default profile, and I have to switch to the one I actually use, and when I have to do that, it forgets this PB game's address in the direct IP connection screen, so I have to alt-tab and come here to get it. banghead

Even if I delete the default profile, it will still load having created a new default profile, which also messes up my resolution setting.

I suppose that none of this is particularly debilitating, but it is extremely annoying. rant
