T60 - This feels absolutely horrible right now. I'm really bad at these Ancient era wars because I don't usually play them. I'd rather develop my empire through normal means but I can't just let something like that go unpunished right now. It will probably cause major headaches down the road especially if I'm left without horses.

Just as an idea. If you really plan a war, you should thinking about building barracks before.

I was thinking about it but if I plan on attacking very soonI figured right now it might not be worthwhile to have the extra xp when more axes might make a bigger difference then just more exp. Maybe that's the wrong thought though.

T62 - Well I was able to take a peak at the city that he settled. I can get 4 Axes and 1 Spear to hit the city in the next few turns. Hopefully it will be enough.

3t's for the other 2 axes and spear to pop out. I just realized though the spear might have been a bad idea because there's a good chance he doesn't have horses yet. Looking it over I might need more axes just because I need a min of 2axes to take out 1 of his axes.

Total turns to get there is probably more an issue

It woul indeed be strange if he pinkdotted you for horses having his own. Can you road a little in time to speed up the stack?

I have roads speeding up the unit movements and he already has a warrior right by my border to see what's happening so I don't want to just put down a clearly visible/aggressive road on the border which wouldn't even speed up the movement.
