Sorry for the attitude guys. Like I said, just frustrated. Anyway, new turn rolled over. I'll see if I can report like a grown-up.
Zerker done in Greenland, onto Oxford, due in 10T.
We pretty much breakeven @70% at this point, 615 bpt. Astronomy is due in 3T. Not much of a way to accelerate that, running 100% wouldn't get it and would burn through our surplus in less than 2T.
Let's take a look at likely milestones:
T173: Astronomy.
T176: Guilds.
T177: Construction.
T180: Engineering, Oxford complete.
T182: Gunpowder.
T187: Chemistry.
So Galleons on 170, Frigates on 187. Can we conceivably get Rifles ourselves on T200?
T189: Banking
T193: Replaceable Parts.
T199: Rifling.
Of course, these are probably slightly conservative estimates. More folks are moving the Rifling beeline than anything else, so we'll probably get a decent known tech discount. Unfortunately, if we really want to be the dominant seapower, we'd also need to go to Vassalage soon, which is going to make a significant dent in our research - Greenland is responsible for roughly a quarter of our beakers, that's only going to get more dramatic after Oxford. Regardless, if we're deciding we want to shoot our wad here, we might as well do that. The plus side, we can sell ships rather than loan them in this scenario, and then buy the Rifle upgrades ourselves.
Here's graphs for those who wanted them. GNP is hard to read at this point, Lord Parkin's inflated number makes the rest of look small. plako's made a nice surge, Locke has fallen off a bit since hitting Liberalism. I haven't done a beaker count, but I'd guess we're pretty solidly 3rd in beakers researched. rego is also finally pulling his economy up.
Production. You can see plako come back to the pack here as he's pushing research to get to Rifles.
Crop Yield. Nothing interesting here that we haven't known for a long time.
And here's the power graph. Nothing interesting here either, since you've all been already aware of the situation with Locke drafting. Nobody else is building up yet, since nobody has the techs they need yet.
