{SPOILERS} 2metra, Dreylin & OT4E. This is the beginning of a wonderful friendship.

I was thinking to skil temple buut finish the monastery. It is cheaper and gives better cultural expansion for the third circle, but may be we can have both.
Dont wait 12 hours and play it no matter how

Maybe I got the two confused; whichever was about to finish has now been whipped and HS has been queued behind.

Lots of Workers waiting for Watermills...

Thats what I was trying to say. Good

Few thoughts:
1) We still need to spare at least 1 worker to make cottages around Rhodes, it has no good tile to work. I'd start from finishing yellow one.
2) The borders of Wunderbar will only expand in 10 turns. Base calculations for HS are the following: 30H from overflow, 30H chop, 48H from 3rd circle chops, 14 hammers per turn so it will take 10 turns too. But this is narrow place, because in 10 turns H&K can take marble back and it wont affect our final chops.
3) I am not sure that we need that 1-tile island city. It takes much investments (galley, settler, WB, missionary) and gives very small output for a very long time. It will never get fish from Commodore's city. We'd better take it later if someone decides to plant it, but I dont see it reasonable for now. So I delayed galley in LM.
4) We have 12 workers now, but I think we need 3-4 more when we get HS and feudalism.
5) When we get Feud we revolt into serfdorm and vassalage. Must be in about 10 turns as HS.

UPD:
6) The only worth spot to plant city is in the south, near clam and deers. The criteria is that we can chop something.

Carthage and Korea made peace.

Zulu discovered Paper after turn rolled. He has Aestetics, Literature, Music, Code of laws, Civil Service, Philosophy and Paper. He was teching at -40 gpt per turn ratio.

Here are our graphs at the beginning of turn.

I track some more statistics:
- dtay has income of about 400
- hit and key got -116
- Gavagai got -127
- Plako got -103

Dtay is heading to Nationalism or how else can we explain Pacifism + Bureau?

Wow, we're quite a way behind, aren't we. frown

Compared to zulu? Yes indeed, but they had golden age and its score leader. When you are behind you get nice tech discount. So I only worry that dtay can try to use his advantage, the progress of others I like.

We are playing our own game and are not doing bad so far. Our problem is low pop. Never forget about it. We have few good food sources and too many mines.

Bad thing that it takes two turns to change two civics now...

3 turns till Feudalism and I am currently planning to have switch to Serfdorm ASAP.

Some maths, we have got:
1) 16 tiles for watermills
2) 11 (+1 on the island) green hills for windmills
3) 9 (+1) yellow hills for windmills again
4) 4 desert/tundra hills for windmills

We will get just 2-3 hammers from serfdorm on the turn we switch but in approximately 7-10 turns it will start giving us about 30 hammers that is comparable with slaving 1 citizen each turn, but saving and providing us constant growth rate. This will finally let us catch up in population and advance in commerce.

Cant we push a bit for a GP to use for a GA to avoid wasting 2 turns in anarchy? If we can make it in those 7-10 turns, then we will switch without anarchy and start using the good tiles when they are actually ready to be used.

And yes, we are far from the leaders, but we knew we are not leading in this game. smile

As for taking REM/AI's land, it is indeed not very good idea, as we wont be able to defend it from German Joey once he finish with his conquest. But on the other hand, there is a great patch of lush land to our north-east, which can be taken after going through HAK's outposts. I think HAK will have bad time bordering Mack and Mack being out of good land, just like us. So if we invest in our UU, we might be able to settle/take some colonies in there.
