So I haven't been following very closely lately after the period with all the diplomatic walls of text...how are your plains farms giving you a hammer? You're still in Aristocracy...

I'm pretty sure it's only agrarianism that is +1F -1H on farms. Everyone just likes to pair it up with the aristocrats when lots of 0H grass or floodplains are around.

I'm currently running Aristocracy/Conquest rather than Aristocracy/Agrarianism. Agrarianism gives +1f/-1h per farm, Aristocracy gives +2c/-1f per farm. I'll be losing those hammers next turn once I swap back into Agrarianism.

I am keeping up to date on the thread but have been bit frazzled lately. Hopefully now Sciz has broken both of his wrists he won't post in here though and so I can catch up a bit!

The Great Artist will be best put to use for a Golden Age at this stage I think. ~830 beakers isn't a lot.

Have you had any backlash from killing Rosy on the diplo front or did the other just think it was kinda stoopid of Irgy to leave him exposed like that?

I'm aiming to use the GArtist to start a Golden age around turn 140/141.

So far no backlash on the diplo front. I haven't heard anything from Nyktorion or WarriorKnight in awhile. Mardoc and I chatted about it, he didn't seem unhappy.

Irgy otoh, was a bit unhappy.

Turn 134 I swapped civics to Aristocracy/Consumtion/Military State/Agrarianism/Undercouncil.

End of turn 135 saw the completion of the Mines of Gul Dur (giving me 3 iron resources) and the generation of a great merchant. I'll likely settle the merchant in GLT.

Irgy finished off research on Optics this turn (for some reason Optics is proving popular this game ) and Nyktorion swapped to Consumption/Undercouncil.

I'll finish off research on Fanatacism on turn 136 to be followed by Corruption of Spirit, Optics (Frigates (which require Iron)), Poisons (assasins) and Infernal Pact.

I'll swap into OO in a couple of turns once I've got my 10 SoKs upgraded to Paramanders. I'm aiming to be in AV around turn 143-145 to get Infernal Pact teched. I'll save my Golden Age until then and get the Grimoire built nice and fast for to slingshot Malevolent Designs. I'm aiming to upgrade my four highest xp Cultists to Eidolons and will probably build a Beast of Agares or two before switching to Empyrean for Radiant Guards/Rathas and possibly Chalid.

All the religion switching plans are the fun thing about the Malakim in SP. I'm glad you're planning on using it to effect here in multiplayer.

Is the alignment switch back to Neutral, away from easy spread Hell terrain, a factor or just a handy side effect?

A bit of both. I want Empy for the Priests, the Rathas (and Chalid if I can get him). The lowered chance of Hell terrain spread is a nice bonus as well.
