No we cant. We switch to serfdorm to get good tiles to work. Delaying it is bad idea. Running golden age before we actually grow and start using newly improved tiles is not good too. So we switch to serfdorm and do not switch to vassalage. We will switch to economics during golden age and may be something else.

Serfdorm saves 3 worker turns on each watermill and 2 on each windmill. So it is very ineffective to build those without it.

Mills give you both hammers and commerce and works greatly during golden age. All we need is to grow.

News from this turn are not inspiring. Commodore and plako are at war again.

I hope it is local conflict and Commodores once opens his eyes and looks at his other pacifistic neighbor.

Dtay poped 40% borders in his new city using some artists during his golden age.

We must expect him getting GA for GA again. He has got GM last turn. But the question is: Is he going to use one golden age right after another or just making enough GPs for later golden ages.

Right now he has over 2000 gold in cash and about +450 per turn.

He also put an unattended worker in our range trying to chop his forests. What do we do with this?


BTW, Zulu has learned Education with GSes, so Liberalism is just a matter of few turns.

We're not ready for a fight right now, so probably best to leave it. He might be shaping up to hit Commodore while he's distracted with Plato for all we know.

I would take it, but 2metra must decide now.

We will be more ready to war with that worker. And we need to prepare to it once anyway.

Well, if 2metra doesn't show up in time, you have deciding vote as turnplayer.

I think he wont bring any defenses next turn, so we have some more time to think about it.

Yes, it will drag Dtay a bit down maybe, as he will use GA to build units, but we will be dragged deeper down, forced to use our sparse resources for waging a war which we are not profiting from.

After a long chat with Ot4e I changed my mind on this operation and went ahead and declared war to Dtay, taking his worker. I proposed a cease-fire for him. Otherwise, we play after him.

Dtay accepted caesic fire. He rised his tech and now he has 1000 GNP. Terrible, yeah? He also got GA as I expected. So he might have really long golden age.
Commodore razed another city of plako in the same region and made peace. Personally I dont think that he is brave enough to make pressure on dtay.
Hit&Key started golden age.

All our workers got in position. On the first stage we focus on new improvements, then we rebuild our mines and unnecessary farms. Hope we are ready to say NO to slavery.
8 monasteries and 2 temples we have so far, but it is still just 7 turns from when we have built AP.
