T54. We are indeed 1st on scoreboard.
I did move some units. Still, 2 warriors unmoved (in MIT and northern one). Any suggestions?
I did put MIT on Granary, but its up to you. We could put hammers in settler instead. Or even worker with perfect overflow ( (3+9)*1.25 )
EDIT: warrior on the wheat could be moved as well. Small chance barb appear SE, but we can deal with it.

As you can see, LP whip 2 pop this turn(T54).
Could it be Oracle?
Just a thought.
I think its settler, most likely. But who knows, maybe LP crazy enough to whip into WW.

Looking good so far, and yeah let's relish our spot on top of the scoreboard.
Some comments:
1. The granaries are fine, let's keep them building. MIT will be growing faster eventually with the pigs and grassland farms.
2. No real idea on where the warriors should go, except that the northern one needs to protect the fourth city spot.
3. I'm glad we're asking Native America about open borders. I have no idea why they would agree to open borders with only one team ... let's see what happens. Can we ask them not to discuss our conversations with them (to other teams)?
4. I agree with the city blocking location for India. Do we want to "gamble" and put that there for our sixth city?
Teddy, just an FYI: My grad school admissions cycle ends this December, so after the holidays I'll have a lot more time to run sims. In the meantime, I'll still be around and can play turns occasionally and write messages (I have set it so I get all emails in my primary email account). I'll reevaluate our situation this weekend and see if we should be leaning in a certain direction.

1. Its just one turn. Next turn we should switch to warrior in MIT to get overflow to finish 1st chariot on T58. That was the plan. And I agree with you to grow MIT with Pigs, but we need this tile for capital till T57 anyway. Let me sim a bit.
2. Agree. I'll wait CareBears reply with Lion position ss. If not, I'll probably move our warrior NW.
3. As you know from Asterix msgs, SutOxy cant open border with us. I just try to move them to talk about it (without mention M&M info).
4. Not sure about 6th city, but we should consider it pretty soon.
DMOC, just an FYI: I'm pretty available right now to play PB14. Still, I could be suddenly out of inet for 1-2 days.
Anyways, I'd like your input on every decision our team had made. I'm not sure I'm right (and I'm sure I was wrong few times already), so please correct me as soon as you can. PB14 is your baby after all.

SutOxy can't open borders with us? They just said they would in their latest message.
Quote:Dear Teddy,
Oxy & Sut sounds fine - we are the OxySuttocratic Republic after all! While our goal is to establish a peaceful and enlightened OxySuttocracy for the nations, we are astonishingly poor at drawing maps. Suttree will tell you that he made that mistake as a test, in order for you to confirm your brilliance and magnanimity, but actually his brain is slightly muddled and he sometimes he has difficulty remembering which hand is "right" and which hand is "left." We keep our hopes up that some day he will graduate from the 3rd grade!
We agree to keep our correspondence confidential. Suttree asks that you not tell any of the other teams that he is scared of ducks.
We muchly agree with your assessment that ancient warfare is a waste of resources better invested in peaceful growth and development. Thank you for your confirmation of our T100 NAP. Suttree promises in addition that he will send you pictures of kittens and other peaceful creatures. But not ducks.
Our scout is heading south at the moment - are you available to act as an intermediary between us and Care Bears? We have found Orgynized to be very polite in diplomacy - though not afraid to bargain. We have had difficulty working with Asterix. Despite being our oldest contact, he seems more focused on "gestures of good faith" than actual trade. It's not Maga's fault that she couldn't participate in the game, but her absence kind of screwed us over and its frustrating to be stuck now in the same place we were a month ago. If you're chatting with Asterix, please tell him that we're willing to work with him as a partner but we need some sense that we can work together in more than a "symbolic" fashion.
Did you know that the name Dick is only one letter away from Duck? Is this a coincidence? We like your team very much, so we think it is a coincidence.
We have fish, wheat, corn, sheep, cow, silk, and banana for trade and believe all civs have access to horse/copper.
No problem with the EP's - we would like you to have our graphs so that you can confirm our peaceful intentions. Information is important for cooperation. We understand that you might have limited options available for your EP spending.
We would love to sign an OB agreement with your civ - offer in game and we will accept. We ask, however, that you not move units in to our borders unless we both agree. We will observe the same restriction and not move our units in to your borders unless we both agree. You are a completely new civ to us, so we are happy to take the time to build trust. Over time we hope we can develop a more substantive partnership. Suttree especially would like to thank you for your prompt and detailed replies. Even if Dick76 is a duck.
Regards,
The OxySuttocratic Republic

Bad news -- Care Bears' latest screenshot showed that their 5th city was settled in our direction up north, threatening our 'blocking city' site.

EDIT: reply to DMOC's post about SutOxy msg.
Yup, this message is funny.
I did google this:
Quote:What is Anatidaephobia?
"Anitidae" meaning duck; and "phobia" meaning fear - Anatidaephobia is the uncontrollable fear of being watched by a duck. While this sounds like a joke, it's a genuine fear that some people actually have.
Seems like Asterix have some problems with SutOxy and tried to scare us about them.
Still, not much about LP in their msg. Seems they are like LP much more than Asterix.
I won't be a peacemaker between M&M and OxySut for now. Let them fight (not military, but through diplomacy).
We got NAP T100 with SutOxy.
I think its ok, we cant possibly war with them earlier anyway.
We had to decide our scout moves next. Seems logical to continue east.
I'll reply SutOxy and ask for our scout passage through their land.
Another option for scout: explore the coast for trade routes to M&M and India, so scout go back again.
I'm pretty wasted at the moment.
Normal thing to do is get some sleep, but I'm afraid I'll answer diplo e-mails first. God help team EggHeads.

Well, they had to plant near gold, obv.
OTOH, in some msg Asterix said their 6th city goes in his direction.
