If you play a reasonable amount you probably shouldn't bother crafting common cards. I know I regret crafting 2 Druid's of the Claw and then getting 4 since.

That's how I roll.. Common cards are, well, too common to craft. Legendarys on the other hand will set me back too much if the one I craft gets nerfed or if I get a second one from a pack. So I've been crafting epics and rares.

The policy of Blizzard is to give 100% disenchant for any card that gets nerfed/changed. So don't worry about that setting you back.
