RBP3 [SPOILERS] Team Nice Shot - Pacal of Carthage

Turn rolled so I played most of the new turn, but have not ended. Most important question for this turn is what to do with the chop hammers that we just got at LW. Currently we are building an archer, which will finish thanks to the chop. But some other suggestions...
*Catapult, we could always use more
*Spear, the only potentially offensive force we can see so far is mounted.
*Forge, expensive and useful, the chop would take care of 1/4 of the build for us.
*Barracks, we are at 19/50. That would take us to 49/50.

I would lean toward either the forge or the barracks, but have left it on archer for the time being.

Also, further scouting of Otto territory has revealed the military buildup in their southern border city. We are looking at a force inside the city of 1 Axeman, 1 HA, 1 Spearman, and 1 Archer. lol Honestly, I'm starting to doubt war on T100. They just don't have the forces in place to make a war happen. Unless they are hiding just out of view... but looking at their position on the power graph, I don't think they have that much more than w.hat we have seen. ... We also gained visibility into a northern city this turn.. 1 Warrior. At least we aren't the only ones defending with warriors? ... In other Otto news, it would appear that they have turned the EP scale against us full time, as our target increased to 145 this turn. Maybe we should slot in a courthouse to gain the upper hand?

I sent this map to Krill and CHASM...

I put LW as a catapult at this time, as I just feel like they have a longer shelf life than either spears or archers (obsoleted by longbows and pikes). We also had another forest grow there jive, so that can be chopped out as well (we already have a barracks at LW, btw). I switched it, but did not end turn.

I also think the HA we are getting from England should not be used for zone defense. I'd rather have it at LW, and move one of our NCs to southern zone defense.

I just realized at LW, we should not build a farm. In terms of turns working the gold mine, it will simply be quicker to just get out our GS and be done with it than to switch to the farm. Let's chop and/or cottage instead.

Just a quick note, but I won't be able to play from Friday evening to Saturday afternoon.

Just a quick note, but please don't end turn until I get the chance to run the Otto's production numbers as per the email with England and Mali.

Okay. I'm not sure what I was thinking with the barracks... as I knew we had one there already. Oh well, something is at 19/50. But I'm convinced that the catapult is the way to go in this case.

I'm okay with using the HA up north, as long as we also use the NC that has already been promoted for visibility up north as well.

And I'm definitely okay with chopping and cottaging at LW instead of farming.

Okay, the timing works quite well. I work 11pm-9am tonight, so will play the next turn before work. Then I'm back to a more "normal" schedule, and so can even play the following turn Saturday evening if it rolls at a reasonable time. Also, thankfully with the CAN dissolving into PAT the diplomacy seems to have simplified a little bit, so it's much easier to keep track of things and also much more streamlined to communicate with alliance members. ... That is why I will continually fight to be in the smaller but stronger alliance for the rest of this game.

I don't care about the size, but I'd certainly like to be in the stronger one wink

I'm hopeful the turn will roll before I have to leave (I'll have to go at 7).

I think we should move the NC currently on the otto's border back to be our NW zone defense, and move the current NW zone defense down to S zone defense. I believe the visibility NC is done this turn.

By the way, for future, we should build NCs in our capital and catapults in St. Paul, and not the other way around (as we had set up). Get horse units where we have a stables, eh?

Absolutely! Mukha's in game now, so we should hopefully get your wish.

By the way, what is the sabotage production formula?

Well, I've tried logging in to our turn twice now, and both times had crashes to desktop right after the turn loaded huh Anyway, hopefully you can log in, and then I will try again to see if that changes anything if I haven't already had to leave. If I can't get in for whatever reason, just post questions in the thread I guess, and you'll have to run the EP numbers (or just not end turn and I can do it tomorrow afternoon).
