Some news on the war front:
Top and total power has dropped by 6000, and WPC war weariness is up to 17 (15 at the start of T79). Ie, I think WPC has counterattacked and killed a German axe. (Does anyone have the war weariness numbers that someone posted here earlier and can link to them? I can't find them right now, and forgot to save the post for later reference.)

Tomorrow evening (GMT) I will leave for Christmas with my in-laws, and be away from Civ for several days (my wife has the ticket back, so I don't know the exact day I'll be back, but it should be well before New Year's Eve).
So I won't be able to do any C&D data collection, but can still help out on the analysis side, if needed. Check list for data to be collected Start of turn: F9 screen: screen shot of Demographics; Top Cities if things of interest there F8 screen: note down our population percentage; check any notable changes in culture generation F4 screen: War Weariness for WPC and the Germans (Glance) F4 screen: check civics if we suspect new techs, or new contacts (Info) After whips/new cities: F9 screen: screen shot of Demographics After WPC finishes turn: F9 screen: check if soldier value has changed F4 screen: War Weariness for WPC and the Germans (Glance) Close at end of turn: F4 screen: War Weariness for WPC and the Germans (Glance) F4 screen: resources F8 screen: note down our pop percentage Note that the best way to get good screen shots of the screens is to scroll to an unrevealed part of the map - that way the shots become smaller and the score is easier to read.

Forgot to note this earlier, but CFC has finally adopted OR. I guess they wanted to avoid the increased cost for now, but that they want to start getting buildings now.

Waiting in game for Germans to end their turn. They whipped (both visible cities remain at size 2). There was also combat, as WW has gone up to 18.
I do have the demo screen after both events. mh

If WPC WW is up to 18, there was only the one battle, which they won.
The Germans lost 5000 in power, 1000 from the whip, and probably 4000 from a chariot (or a spear, but that's less likely). The whip was a 3->2 whip. Anyway, from T70 on the Germans have whipped a total of 10 times: 7 1-pop whips and 3 2-pop whips. And they only have 5 cities, so it's likely double-stacked whip anger in every city. I also note that some other team has managed to connect a health resource - it might be WPC's cow, provided they are the rival worst, but it's more probably CivFr or CivPlayers. They are the teams with the highest pop values per city.

Another little piece of analysis/statistics here. Since food is the most important thing to produce early game, you want to get as much food out per tile as possible. Below is a guesstimate of the food production from several team, together with their amount of worked tiles (cities + pop, so city centres are included).
Food tile ratios CFC: 2.5 (65 / 26) RB: 2.45 (71 / 29) Univers: 2.32 (79 / 34) WPC: 2.28 (41 / 18) Germans: 2.125 (34 / 16) I assume Univers is the rival top in food, and the German's rival worst. Note how the Germans are really screwed here - their growth rate will be at most half ours, even if we consider that all their cities must be really small. And CFC must really have emphasised food in their cities.

Though I guess this way of expressing things will be easier to grok, and maybe also give a better metric:
Estimated food surplus per city CFC: 5 (65F, 20 pop, 5 cities) RB: 4.17 (71F, 23 pop, 6 cities) Univers: 3.57 (79F, 27 pop, 7 cities) WPC: 3.25 (41F, 14 pop, 4 cities) Germans: 2.4 (34F, 11 pop, 5 cities) The thing that really hurts us here is the low food output of GM and TH, since the cities lack high food tiles to work from the start.
