[spoilers]The Courts of Chaos: Thoth disrupts the Pattern

2nd turn of the evening saw Krill teching something (or growing two pop at eot). He recently joined Pindicator and myself in the three city club.

2 pop worth of whip from Yuri suggests a settler whip from him and an upcoming 3rd city.

I'm expecting Commodore to settle his 3rd any turn now but I may have missed it in the log.

2 pop whip from Krill last turn, presumably a settler.

Whipped out another settler this turn (23) from Kolvir to settle t26 with WB on site and a worker ready to start the sheep pasture.

Overflow from settler means 2t worker followed by finishing archer and growing back to size 7 around eot30 I think?. Start settler t31, whip t32. Settler heads south to settle for Horses around t35ish

Eot 25 my galley completes as does a chop. T26 start settler with overflow from galley and chop, worker boards galley and galley moves towards island.
t27 whip settler for 2 pop in Courts, worker offloads onto the island sheep and galley returns to mainland. t28 settler boards galley. t29 offload, t30 settle island.

3rd turn of the day. jive


Forgot to move Kolvir's warrior out last turn and so I'm going to wind up delaying next city by a turn thanks to a barb wolf.






Ending turn got me Shock on all my Axes:







That will make handling barbs a lot easier.

I mixed up the events.
Shock for axemen is the good event. Cover for melee still not bad.
So that are shock/cover axemen from scratch ?

I think there is another promotion for all melee units behind a quest for maximum benefit.

Cover on all melee and shock on axes. Both are good. smile


The swordsman quest has the option of promoting all swordsmen to CR1 as one of the options.

Settled Avalon on t27, a turn late thanks to the barb wolf and two pop whipped my first island settler.  Offloading a worker onto the island shows forest to the north of the mountains and more island to the east.




I'm aiming to settle 1 W of the sheep on the island on t30 and pop the hut with a scout (currently enroute to Courts for pick-up) on the same turn.

Settled Cabra on the island and popped the hut for a map:




Two luxuries inland, one of which is doubled by my cheap Marketplaces.    I'll be wanting a third settler over here as soon as I can manage it. 

Horse city next (t36), then Ivory (t??),  then the Corn/Crab island city?  or inland to grab the silver and furs.  hmmmm.

t33  made contact with Pindicator (4 cities, IW, HBR)  who has an exploring WB to my south.

Popped a hut on the island for 40 gold which is nice. 

Ending turn got me a religion spread into Cabra.  City #6 due on t35.
