Not exactly. We were using untested (in nudist group situations) builds for the most part and found that things don't go as smoothly as planned. We had several restarts due to skill reconfigurations and wound up fumbling over stuff that wasn't working for whatever reason. I can't really speak for everyone else, but I will say I learned from the experience and hopefully will have the build ironed out for next time.
My big question mark for next time is the necros. I think those of us that were planning the team build out in our heads thought we wouldn't be using them, since the main reason for one was BiP, which in theory wouldn't be needed with Ether Renewal, and so the team wasn't really sure what to do with them. I think next time, if we are going to use them we should have one go BiP and use a regular monk for the elite. I don't think relying on Ether Renewal for healing is going to be a good idea since it will inevitably go down at a very inconvenient time (i.e. the middle of that second boss fight).

The Icy Veins build I tried and then passed to KoP (I think) was pretty amazing damage. Under right conditions, it results in an AoE (nearby Icy Veins/Putrid Bile, area Rising Bile) spike of 300 damage at the death of the right foe. Probably needs more energy but the other necro could go BiP and fuel a more reliable management than SR is, as well as some better midline.
Renewal was a big let-down to me.

I've been randomly playing around with Renewal some more, and it's far, far less broken at 3 energy returned instead of the usual 4 you can hit with runes. At 3 energy I have to spend time spamming enchants on myself just to enable infinite spam of 10e stuff on other people. The only part that really shined was infusing for insane amounts with Symbiosis down (400+), and being able to quickly recover that health. But if you make some mistake and get your energy down below 20 or so, it's very hard to recover in time.
To really leverage anything out of ER, I think I'd have to either A) focus on spamming 5e skills inbetween gratuitous infuses B) use the "bonder" to instead put enchant stacks on the ER guys. (Maybe that could make a tank's life easier too)
We could look into tweaking our damage further (2x SF seems like a must, there are problems with splitting in the fort), but the bottom line again was the tanks died first and then everyone else followed.

I did wyrm's trick and soloed the one side with an ether renewal earth tank, but this time I had both life bond and barrier on me from the bonder. There were some close calls that I would not have survived without the enchants, so I have no idea how wyrm was managing without.
Anyway, as mentioned I think superbonding our critical guys is the key, we should also have the catapults back and working now. The only remaining challenge is getting seven people on tonight. ![[Image: rolleye.gif]](http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/rolleye.gif)

Well we had a grand total of 4 showing up, but Zed and Courin left after it was obvious we weren't going anywhere tonight....
So fridays haven't been so good. After next week my classes end, and my schedule becomes more flexible. KingofPain's Diablo group seems to have moved to Tuesdays though, and Hawkmoon is leaving on vacation sometime soon? While we can eek by with fewer players in the fire islands, we basically need seven to have a chance on THK.
So, is it a matter of Tuesday being preferable, or people being burnt on this mission and want a break, or does it make sense to continue right now with all these conflicts? Is there interest in a more hero-friendly variant in its place? Or people just want to stick with the saturday events? (Which are also having some schedule trouble lately...)

Fridays are bad for me, I won't get home until 8pm PST.
Tuesdays are probably still best for me to try and do anything. Every other day is a crap shoot depending on what I need to do.

Courin and I will try to make it whatever day it's set on, depending on our schedules, but we weren't having problems with the Tuesday date.

Uhhhh...I thought Fox said last week that he wasn't going to be able to make it last night (the 20th)? I figured (erroneously, it seems) that no Nudists would be happening, so didn't worry about getting online. Sorry about that.
This weekend is the last that I'll be around regularly until mid-August. I know for sure that I won't have internet access next weekend. I'll try to get online when I can, but I don't know which campgrounds will have WiFi that I can connect to.
If you guys want to continue on without me, that's okay. If you want to have the Nudists go on summer hiatus, and pick up again regularly in late August, that's fine too.
