This is the mirror boundary, I'm not sure why the wheat is not reflected, but everything else fits, especially if you consider layout south of the sea. Second Yggdrassil should be found where indicated and city on the star would make for a very strong and hard to crack aggressive plant. Probably impossible to take once you put some horses there. I think you should seriously consider going there with your first expansion.
Pagan temple finished, I'm starting on a Prophet with warrior and worker in queue.

I want to confirm there actually is a second Ygg; if you're right, then I agree it's a very strong second city. plako's messed with the mirror enough that it might not be there.
Production-oriented rather than commerce, but that's what I need anyway.

Ygg2 confirmed. Sadly, the scout also confirmed the presence of a Griffon, so I'm not expecting much else from him. I definitely agree with putting my 2nd city where you suggest - and if I can, my third city on the symmetric hill to grab the other Yggdrasil.
The southern scout popped the hut and our streak of luck ended - just XP.
I'm also seriously considering a revolt into Apprenticeship and Conquest, perhaps when my first stables is finished. That'd be a decent way to turn Longsword into a production city, and of course starting units with 5 XP would be loads of fun.

Very little new, except that skeletons + darrell have meant I still haven't managed to improve the incense. I'm able to 1-turn warriors now, however, so that ought to solve itself soon. I'll build up to 4-5 warriors, then swap to a settler, which is currently a 6-turn build.
I think we ought to aim to build lots of roads, that'd give us the mobility advantage to be able to actually kick darrell back out of our lands.

Look what I just found ![smile smile](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/smile2.gif) .
I went ahead and spent my scout's promos to make sure he survives to grab it.

WotE is at 369/385, remember to do zero research on your next turn, or even better - start teching towards HBR already, I'll join you after next turn. I placed some tentative city markers on the map.

Ok. I'm not convinced that it matters who officially finishes the tech, but it's worth a try. Definitely want the holy city to be Khazad if we can. I'll swap to animal husbandry immediately. I'll be at 4 warriors next turn, I think that's enough that I can start the settler right after. I might even have a shot at a third city before HBR comes in.
I ought to build up an event fund soonish, but that can wait until after HBR. And after I finally get the incense plantationed

Most of them I like, especially the tweaks to the ones I'd placed. So of course I'm going to bring up the one I'm not sure about. The one in the center here hasn't got very much food. I'd be inclined to move it either 1E to grab the fish, or 1-2N to grab the floodplains. If you go with north, then my tentative site would need to move too, perhaps to the grass hill by the barrow.
Oh, the hut? Well, I no longer believe that there's something broken here, just started with good luck. "The villagers have healed your unit". Bah!

There's plenty enough river grass to farm as far as food is concerned, especially given I'm not going to run aristocracy at all. It's a 2 hammer hill spot ( slingers get defense bonus on hills in addition to defense bonus from cities ) that's outside of tsunami range and pretty easy to defend for a dwarf. In normal condition I might go somewhere else, but this is an AW game.
