[SPOILERS] Ceiliazul is Player One: Louis of Egypt

Sure. Worker would do as well, but slow building a settler before growth and finishing the sword is good as well.

Hopefully the worker and the barb city will eventually be ours. Very favorable geography here!

Upon further looking, I see ALL of our top 4 cities were on "avoid growth". Woah, that's a problem. I know we need to let whip anger time out, but that means building workers/settlers, not archers... I swapped Ludus from market to worker for that reason. OASIS will finish archer this turn and presumably start a settler next turn, right?

It's a great site, the barb city. Maybe we can send another sword or two over there.
A market in Ludus is very profitable, therefore I kept the build.
A settler in OASIS is my plan as well, but we need defense for new cities. A lot of barb units are popping up...

In general for the early game, I slowbuild workers/settlers, then put 1t into whatever unit and whip it. The overflow goes to the settler, and the whips have time to resolve without avoid growth.

I agree we need archers. Anyway, the lid comes off in 3 turns with Hereditary rule. It'll be glorious!

It will help. Especially if we connect wine asap.
What should we tech afterwards? CoL or the top of the tree?

Code of Laws, then Aesth. We'll have marble hooked by that time. jive

Turn rolled, you get another chance at that barb worker! smoke

Also, the barb warrior near Middletown took the jungle hill, so I cancelled the adjacent worker's cottage orders. I didn't give any other unit orders.

I'd like to see the Frobozz archer explore the rest of the Plako peninsula. The pl-hill shown here should reveal just about everything, there isn't much land there. Because of the very small land mass there, the odds of any barb catching us out of position are also small. I did not issue this order.

I'll move the archers the way you suggest.
We could tech MC as well...

I'll play later tomorrow morning.

Krill has taken the block site for himself. alright So now we need to settle southwards on hills for good defensive terrain...

Dang, I have some time to play but the game is still down.

Did we get that barb worker? How about the barb city to the north?

Hey, now that we have metals, maybe a good time to trade maps with Krill?

I logged in game, all looks good! The worker-sniping warrior can try to head far West and meet new peeps now?

I queued an aquaduct in Frobozz... change it if you want to, but I think now is the time for gardens if we want it.

Edit: A better option in Frobozz might be a work boat. We have to know what (and who!) is to our East. and fast. If Frobozz goes for the wonder, maybe Globe can build a boat for that purpose.
