At this point, I suspect that somehow my EiTB v0.8 has gone funky somehow. It worked fine before my holiday but the game crashes whenever I hit end turn in my PBEM on that version also. v0.9 is working fine. I deleted the modmod and redownloaded from Sarelns link. The problem still occurs where I can't connect to host, but in addition the background menu screen is also plain black with no picture or words.
Any suggestions?
This sounds like you were running the wrong mod version. If someone joins with a different version than the host the pitboss window just crashes. We get this a lot in BTS when people join with BUG loaded on accident.
We'll just have to wait for hart to wake up and reload the game - I'll ping him on IRC.
