I whipped the worker with 1 turn to go for overflow. this says we should have 43 overflow, but next turn we only had 22. not sure why frown.

If it was 43 I would have produced a quick monument, but decided to flow into the granary instead. we can 2 pop whip it when we reach size 4. I'm hoping we get a free religion spread from the native american city, if not we can decide if we need a monument or just a library.

I figured priesthood would give us an extra discount on writing, COL, and Monarchy (we'll need the first 2, and the last if we don't land pyramids). also will give us the option for an oracle build

so this is how it works. on my turn I declare war on izzy and harass her. on everyone else's turn you make peace.

why not? she only has warriors for defense - no archery and no metals. as long as you stick to the forests she won't attack.
I pillaged the vanilla farm then my turn was over. brick can pillage the grain farm and check for any other improvements she has. she has another city now, but no improvements there, lets keep her in the stone age wink.

note that I killed a scout on my first turn of war with her. she has yet to make contact with anyone(except us), including the native americans, hehehe. I figure it won't be likely we'll be friends anyway, since she'll only be friends with whoevers religion she shares - and if she does convert to hinduism it will be fairly easy to make up.

I chopped a forest into the granary and was able to 2 pop whip it on my last turn. I think we grow to happy cap on TGL, then bust out a settler. I marked a PH close to our capital that will be good for building the pyramids (lots of forests). we build TGL in the capital (trying to keep most of the BFC forests) and pyramids in 3rd city (we'll probably have to strip the forests there, unfortunately).

not sure if we'll be able to build the oracle frown. maybe in a 4th city, I dunno. Colossus should be easy after TGL is built.

note the workboat is stuck witha sign that says "wait for open borders." hammurabi is jewish, im not sure he'll give it to us. I guess since we're spiritual we can always convert to no religion for 5 turns to try and get open borders and get through.

sending save to Brick now.

That's because the overflow of a build is capped at the cost of a build. There are more rules to it than just that, but that's the reason it only gave you 22h here
