Mayhaps the 'wall of text' was not huge enough, as you seem to have missed the point no matter how well I tried to explain it. In case you, or anyone else, genuinely did miss it, and aren't just trying to pull tricks on me, I will quickly re-explain. Profile names are not connected to users or roles, they are random. Last names are connected to your role, and might play a part in this game, but without any extra information we've got no way of knowing what part they play. That's why I do not want people revealing their last names. If it is a gameplay mechanic, we need to know more about it first, else we risk the chance of screwing it up for us. At this time we could only guess what they mean, if anything, and that's not a road I want us to take. As for the players behind our masks: Confirming a player is cheating, and non-confirmed players are only of use to the wolves and not to the villagers, therefore we should not drop our masks.
I knew some people would start pushing the meta talk in a game like this. That's why I decided to save us a few days of useless discussion and get us on the right track from the beginning.
Now to my vote. Rob, you are very eager to attack someone only a few hours into the game. While I find it hard to believe that a wolf would rather go on an attack like that than stay low, I find it even harder to believe that a villager would be so convinced of someone's guiltiness right off the bat that they would go on such an attack. Especially when I know that the person you are attacking is a villager, and one of the few contributors so far. It's also odd how you describe that my post had an aura of innocence, yet you take this as a reason to lynch me? What kind of screwed up logic is that, to lynch those who you feel are villagers? Yes, a wolf could play you so that you believe it to be a villager, but for gods sake man there's a thing called Occam's razor maybe you should look it up.

Old Tom is not happy.
The last few posts have been quite revealing.
Firstly Friar Andrew for the too-forced joke vote.
THEN
Fat Rose for the wot that screamed scum
THEN
Muriel the Slow for the line "Especially when I know the person you are attacking is a villager"
There will be blood at dusk.
Old Tom will root out these scum.

Explain to me why explaining my vote and the reason behind it screams scum. I really want to know that. Because for me it seems that you are simply a lazy-ass player that provides no reason for his "reads" at all. My post screamed scum? How so? What exactly made you think that?

Not sure what's so interesting about it. He's attacking me, that is why I know his target's alignment. Everyone knows their own alignment at the start of the game.

I find it amusing how this game follows established patterns despite the anonymous profiles.
I have more to say but I'll save it for when I have more time and let others chime in in the meantime.
Sir Percival, why is Lady Liz scum?

It takes a certain mindset to attempt to deliberately shift your play-style to fit with the fact you are theoretically anonymous. And even then it's generally possible to tell it's forced.

@Friar Andrew
I think you can add "Gets you killed for faking a different playstyle and therefore certainly trying to hide something"...

This is bad justification for a revenge vote. Villagers do attack people at the start of day 1, that is perfectly normal behaviour. It's not like Rob made a massive wall of text case. It was a vote with a one line explanation. Rob didn't say he thought you actually had an aura of innocence either, he accused you of trying to falsely project one.
