I tried to do that once, but then there were charges about child slavery and such so I stop doing that.

I now think WB first, worker still at size 1 is better. This way, we already have the corn improved/almost improved when we reach size 2!
How about quick pottery and fast growing to our awesome CHA happy cap? Or would the granary not pay off so early? Perhaps BW to actually mine those hills (and work them on the happy cap) is better?
We have a happy cap of 7, even without the ivory. We can work corn, fish, (unimproved) ivory and 4 mines. If we settle a second city that takes the corn, we can farm the river grassland and still work all mines at size 7 (no starvation), while pumping a lot of settlers/workers. Considering nerfed slavery, perhaps that's a good strategy? Until we have granaries, it probably is.
What do you say, retep?
