[PB27-SPOILERS] Yup, it's HAK here...no idea what I might do this time...

It is indeed Gavagai way over in the west, and here is also the view of Krill's homeland...

Don't really like the idea of having both Gavagai and Krill nearby, but at least I have Tsargon & TheWannabe as buffers at the moment.

Got graphs on TW this turn, and this is what I see:

Going keep putting 2EPs into him (since he's the neighbor I'm most worried about) to ensure I don't lose graphs. And also now putting 1EP into each of Krill & Gavagai. Tsargon & I are each at status quo on EPs, with me putting no more into him and him putting no more into me. So we both have graphs on each other, and it has stopped there. When I can confirm that TW stops putting EPs into me, then I'll do the same to speed up getting graphs on Krill, and then Gavagai.

The next chop came in this turn from the forest NW of my capital , then another chop comes in next turn with the other worker moving to the forest grass hill on the river NE of my capital. And the following turn W1 moves to the river forest 1N of my Dyes to chop that. They then get to finally move on to improving tiles. smile When W2 finishes his chop on that river hill, he'll likely mine it...though considering sending him straight over to the Rice to get that farmed so that the farm is already in place when I found that city. I recheck those options later. I have a handful of turns to make that decision.
And when W1 finishes his chop, he'll move to the Pigs. My timing has it such that he'll spend 2T building a road there while I finish Hunting, and on the turn I finish Hunting I'll be able to start the Pasture.

Things are getting down to the wire here....and last turn TheWannabe just DOW on me to send his scout through my territory. My warrior is on his way him, but likely his scout will pass through and be out of sight before my warrior could kill it, even if I wanted to. While my eastern scout reached the northern border of his 2nd city (settled north of his capital). He has a Warrior inside that city right now, so I'll have to move my scout with care to not end on a tile that his warrior can reach.
Hopefully TW just moves right on through. He is currently on the tile 1W of Corison. If he moves to either my Mine or Ivory this turn, it will delay my Oracle by a turn. Since he came from the NW, I expect him to at least move SE as his first movement. Then he either keeps moving SE to go to the edge of the borders or he can move onto the Pigs for all I care. It's just my Mine I don't want him to stand on.

On a side note, the 2nd cities are plopping down like crazy. Currently it's just me, Krill, Donovan, Elkad, Molach, & Nyles who have't done so yet. And Krill whipped last turn, so I expect his next city any minute now. And I'm sure the others will shortly as well. Then there will be me, picking up the rear...a good 21 turns after dtay got his 2nd city down. 10 people got theirs by T30. So I'm going to need to pump out cities really quickly to have any chance to catch up. Since my 2nd city site will require two turns of movement for the settler to get to, I'll be revolting to slavery and then adopting the religion while it is in transit. The religion will allow my capital to grow bigger and whip more often for getting out the necessary units and buildings to kick off my expansion efforts.

Logged back in to grab a screenshot after getting my coffee, to realize that TW had already played. Didn't expect him to play so fast, and I was only partially awake so didn't check civstats since it had only been a short time. Anyway, he sent Peace on his turn so my accepting it bumped his scout out of my lands. Here's the shot of the area I went in to grab:

Success!!!

Now to get myself a 2nd and hopefully 3rd city out quickly. Though it's kinda funny...my Size 3 capital was #3 on the Top 5 cities even before the Oracle, right up there with a bunch of Size 4 capitals and such. I'm guessing it was the religion in it that gave it that original bump to be ranked highly? Not sure what else would have made it the #3 city.
Though even with the Oracle now in it, it's still #3. So the Top 5 city calculations I just don't understand. LOL

I think it's quite simply just culture accumulated, isn't it?

basically, its your (total city culture)/5 + (city pop)*(food+production+commerce_income_after_multipliers)
