Oof, i got interrupted in the middle of tinkering with numbers last night - but I was looking at if you might want to swap to a worker in Clinton and whip it right away, as well s whipping the one in for lots of overflow

Micro is shambolic at the moment, looking to get a flood going. Superdeath invested 50h in an...interesting...choice.
![]() Big turn 50 update with forward look.

Got Animal Husbandry; I think the game is telling us to tech Horseback Riding next and just have done with this. I'm not sure I agree with the game, but it's a compelling argument...
![]() Roading means that we're bring another three skirmishers and an axe to Mrs. Doubtfire by turn 51.

Here's the situation. Things are coming to a head; he just hooked up his copper; I have three skirmishers next to Doubtfire right now, and I'll have three more in two turns. My axe is two more behind that; he won't be able to get his own axe into Doubtfire until turn 51 assuming perfect galley transport. We can thus cut his copper in three turns, baring horrible luck.
![]() Horses are just beautiful, beautiful. Let's make horse archers.

Turn 50: The Battle for Coppermine
As is right, proper, and traditional, we begin turn 50 with a pitched battle. Superdeath has six archers in the region of Doubtfire; three on the copper mine, and three in the city proper. So in other words, he had three archers exposed and naked on flatland with only 5% fortify bonus. Next to three of our skirmishers. The worst odds were 80%. The results... ![]() Our next choice is going to be on whether or not to push our luck with an attack on Doubtfire itself. The three skirmishers are in various states of mauled, but as you can see, we had three more move in. Worst odds attacking the flatland city right now? 25%. It'll get better once the cover skirmishers get healed, but not massively so (35%). And while I have an axe incoming, so does he, whipped on turn 49. Worst case, it arrives the next turn; if he screwed up his galley, it'll be in two more turns. I kind of want to have done with it, but there's a chance of coming short. On the plus side, those two 3xp victorious skirmishers are now cover. As buggered up as out start has been, at least we aren't equipped with the slowest leader in the game and deciding to build Stonehenge AND found Hinduism. What are you doing, Donovan? City review time. Burr is where we'll begin; fifty turns into the game and we have two capital tiles improved. Yeesh. If it wasn't for how strong the unimproved tiles were, we'd be really in a terrible way. As it is, the dearth of cottages is really going to hurt going forward. The worker is going to hook up the elephants, then cottage flood plains. We thus far avoided any chops this game. ![]() Clinton, our second city, is beautiful, and it's cruel what we've done to it. Worker, then growth on skirmisher or chariot, then settler time for Thompkins! ![]() It's better to be lucky than good. Luck one was finding copper where we put city #2. Luck two was finding horses where we put city #3. Gerry is going to be a good good city. Cottage this heavily, and it'll have enough mines plus horse and actually build stuff. Whipping granary in another turn, then regrow to 2 on skirmisher. Then...worker or chariot, that's the question. ![]() Demos look...surprisingly okay. What's everyone else doing? We suck, we shouldn't be first in ANYTHING other than power. ![]()
