BGN is out of his mind if he expects me to surrender DZ's capital to him.

His thread was recently updated, so I assume he reports it. He just transported a bunch of units by galleys (!) and dropped them near DZ's capital. He also suggested to me - through a diplo window - to leave this city to him. This - I mean, this whole operation - is one of the stupidest things I've seen in MP civ ever. My concern, however, is that he burns the city to the ground (why? well, for lultz? to stop me, the most threatening civ in this game? dunno), so I took an effort to conceal the number of units I can through at it the moment Donovan's culture is cleared.

Also, Donovan has a number of perfectly good CG3 Longbows standing on random tiles outside of his capital and not moving inside. Don't even why...

If I read civstats correctly BGN just went in and burned DZ's capital. I have literally no words. Why in the world he would do that? There is no purpose at all behind it but to screw me over and why of all people in that game I needed to be screwed over?

I very seriously believe that this is a violation of "do not be a dick" rule. Unless anyone can name me a reason to burn DZ's capital other than being a dick.

To be clear: if I were a threat to win the game or me and BGN had any conflict of interests, it would be only fair, but none of it is the case. The man just have invested a considerable amount of resources with no other purpose but to hurt a backwater civ in the other part of the world with which he had not much previous relationships. What the fuck is it? How one can possibly justify that?

This isn’t BGN’s first conflict with DZ this game.

Donovan is dead anyway, I would have captured his capital in a matter of few turns.

 You asked about motivation; there’s only so much I can say without getting into spoiler territory.
