Correction, it's a 2 turn delay so it will generate a roughly 18 hammers overflow into warrior which has already 10h. So next turn we can also make another 1 turn warrior/scout, or put 17 hammers into a work boat... need to check in game, I did this in top of my head which isn't a good sign. tongue

Here is t14 scouting. Couldn't go NENW since there was a lion so I headed towar the coast, planning on following it. The warrior can go scout the copper I guess.

Switched EPS on Commodore as planned.

Looking at the way the map is shaped this PH city towards Cornflakes might be too much, I'll need to think about it. We have more space east than I expected after scouting Cornflakes so early. Our two capitals are much closer than normal, but it is alleviated by the water to dissuade early rushes and more space to the sides.

Indeed! We might want to settle more cities on our own anyway since there seem to be decent spots available. It depends what he does ofc, but not settling in his face should go a long way to buy us some more time to set up a proper production base.

Surprisingly:

btw I will modify the sandbow if it matters since I got one hill colour wrong (brown instead of green smoke)

Forget everything I said about space east.

Thinking ahead, I am wondering if that's worth it improving the riverside brown hill before the grass one for the imp bonus while building the first settler (assuming size 3 settler but I haven't ran any tests yet). That would give 9h+7f instead of 7h+8f

Probably not but I feel like mentionning it to feed micro discussion noidea

I wish I could be more helpful in the micro, and maybe I'll find some time for it over the next couple of days, but PB46 is taking up so much of my civ energy right now. I'm sure I'll be more involved as the game goes on.

I know that I sometimes mine plains over grassland when imperialistic, there's a good case to be made for it. I trust you to get us decently started and no biggie if it's not perfect.
