Thinking about it more I think plan #1 with whipping the spear is better. 1) It has a backup plan. 2) if it succeeds I can whip a 3rd worker overflow into granary and Bob actually won't need to head back. End up with more workers. 3) Maybe the most important while it is slower by 2-3 turns hitting, the actual reaction time assuming PBSPY reveals my plans and he can read will be lower. Assuming I can keep it hidden in in game demo graphs. I would say plan 1 would be obvious turn 39 probably? Greens have been known to build barracks 1st before so maybe the 1st axe doesn't show. That is 4-6 turns to react assuming he notices turn 39 and when I hit will be with a lot. IE he might not be able to get to archery in time. Plan #2 I would think he would notice turn 34 or 36. So 5-7 turns before 1st axe arrives if he notices right away.

Last in power? Cause you are 4th in score.
SD did not finish BW last turn - you can tell, because he has no change in his score in the interturn. Score is land, tech, wonders and pop.
Did you finish a tech or grow a pop this turn? Your score went up 15 - I think most of that is from the cultural expansion on turn 6, but the rest will be from one of those - I think a pop point.
It sounds like turn 31 or 32 is the one where you need to make a decision, so you have some time to react to what SD does. He is probably going to put his settler out this turn or next and settle a turn or 2 after that. Where he settles is an open question and hard to answer without knowing his land - he might settle where you noted, or either of the 2 hills to the south, or somewhere else near his copper.
How many turns does it take to research archery for you right now? Assume that it will take SD that long himself and then assume that if you choke his copper, he will assume that you are coming for him and he will either A) kill your warriors the next turn or B) research archery.
Can you take his 2 cities with that force before he gets enough archers to make it impossible? If not, are you up for a long choking of him?

I posted last turn; I did jump this turn, but I grew last turn. My understanding is that any lurker can answer a mechanics question, so here it goes. Is there a good explanation of PBSPY point system?
I'm assuming based off of power graph as well that SD finished BW I'm guessing 2 turns ago. (If I'm reading that right). Doing some quick test games as Shaka of Rome looks like turn 29 for 1st settler? I'm assuming would take him 6 turns to research archery with 2 cities, which is why I think its important to keep it hidden as long as possible. I found the formula for him seeing demographics and will try to play with it, although again I have no clue what PBSPY will show.
I'm assuming 2 warriors will at least be able to delay copper hook up just by being around. 4 axes 1 spear and 2 warriors assuming plan 1 should be able to break 1 archer plus however many warriors even on a hill. Certainly should be able to knock out his second city. This wasn't the kind of game I wanted to play, but starting next to aggressive Rome and I have this gift because of moving my cap (again assuming I do end up getting the copper their ASAP like all my tests show). I think I would rather choke him than living in fear of him for the next 100 some odd turns. Again the nice thing about plan 1 is that the backup plan is really the old plan of settle a holy city choke which we know gets his closest source of copper in bfc.

What do you need to know about PBSpy? The points are displayed like ingame. I'm not sure what exactly your question was, but in case it's the turn 25 point jumps: All players who are not Creative and founded their first city on turn 0 got points für land tiles in turn 20 (first ring) and turn 25 (second ring), because points for land tiles are received after 20 turns of constant possession. As you did wander around one turn, your land points are delayed as such.

Techs cede points after the era: Ancient 6 pts, Classical 12 pts, Medieval 18 pts and so on. Wonders 16 pts. Land tiles like described, but it depends on the map size. Population depends on the map size also. Your city grew to pop 2 in turn 17 and you got immediately 3 pts. In some cases, players get 4 pts for one pop growth, so one pop is 3,x pts on this map.

I think there's a fair chance he'll research archery when 2 warriors show up and choke his copper. One warrior can be just an explorer taking advantage, but 2 is a plan. I dunno that he'll say "hey - he's attacking me", but I'm sure he'll take it into account as a possibility.
I suspect speed is your best chance, so a spear makes sense, since you can prebuild it a lot.
I don't want to make it sound like SD is inevitably going to conquer you if he comes after you - sure, praets are awesome, but he needs a pretty big stack, which takes time and hammers - 3 praets is the same of 4 axes. And they are slow. Assuming you can get to construction before a stack hits, you'll be fine - that can be done by researching writing, whipping a library and running 2 scientists for a math bulb while build up money to do a construction run. And your copper being on the other side of your cap means that he can't pillage it, so you'll be able to build axes for awhile. If you claim all the land to the east with a holy city, maybe you can get stone, which makes walls cheap, which also slows down praets.
He might well decide that you are pricklier than another target.

I mean having to blow my 1st scientist on being hopefully safe is EXACTLY why I feel like rushing him is the right play. Even if it doesn't kill him I will cripple.
I was going to wait for suspense reasons, but for those unaware Lizzy does exactly 1 thing no other leader is capable of. She can get an early academy with a financial capital. I fully intend on settling my 1st great scientist and using this way. This should enable me to keep up with techs even with sacrificing early potential. Mind, think if I didn't have aggressive Rome near me and could peacefully build like I wanted when I picked!

Well, I'm still sure that your best plan is to just build.
SD may not attack anyone - it is a greens game, after all.
and if he does, it's 50/50 as to who he attacks if you don't provoke him. Heck, you might be the worst option - even if he takes a city, if you get construction, his attack will fail.
I figure it's at least 75% that you do ok, which I think is better odds than attacking.
That said, I think the best chance for success of a rush is whatever gets good units there the fastest.

If it wasn't aggressive Rome and I didn't have the instant copper hook up I would 100% be doing a builders game. I didn't choose Lizzy of Korea to go to war ever or at least until Rifles was my plan. SD didn't 1st pick Rome and name his thread "eating greens" to not go after someone. Also its Superdeath so war is guaranteed. I also don't think its 50/50 to attack me. I'm betting map is mirrored ish. IE I'm betting he has a foodless expanse with his other neighbor. Current map below. Bear on western warrior is bad as even if he wins will have to heal. Eastern scout had to go back down because there was a lion on the forest and didn't want to risk on a hill. Will probably go back to forest next turn and just have lion attack. BTW look that that nice copper big fish city Vanrober can grab thx to creative. Very jealous. Also if stone is to the east of me who wants to bet marble is on that contested island up there?
I am probably going with the slightly slower plan 1. I was really tempted to go all in fast. If we were 1 on 1 would be different, but slower plan is better for overall development if it fails or succeeds. Norther warrior will go to SW of the cow hill for a couple of turns.
