We lost another 2 cities this turn. Once our coastal cities are gone, I wonder what LP will do. Will he move forward and attack our mainland or will he go after Plako first?
Anyway, not a lot we can do indeed...

So we lost Broccoli Pie (Razed) and Dashboard Light.

Did 5 drafts and some whipping. We'll probably lose more, but there is nothing we can do...

I did some more whips, basically everywhere I wasn't paying the swapping penalty. Its game over for us, so no reason not to make things as difficult as possible for him on the way out. We can maybe hit up Locke and/or plako and see if they can do upgrades for us if we provide gold, since there's really no hope of us ever seeing Rifling if he keeps taking our cities. I doubt he has enough units dedicated to offense to actually take everything, but once he sees how easy it is, I'm sure he'll manage.

Woo hoo! First blood! Given that we've had almost no garrison, that actually probably puts us at a half decent kill ratio.

While I'm thinking about it, in case we do decide to end the game here, I just want to say it was a pleasure playing with you Nakor, and I think we make a pretty decent team. A shame we haven't had a better success record, but PBEM12 was a weird game and we put ourselves behind the 8-ball with our civ/leader choices here, but for the most part, the first 180 turns or so were a lot of fun.

I won't stick around once the game is called - I've basically already done my postmortems in this thread and any I don't want to ruin LP's victory lap with my temper. I don't like how he plays and I especially don't like how he talks, but he deserves his victory and I don't want to sully it by the inevitable lashing out I'd do when he says something inflammatory.

Anyway, just wanted to say that. And thanks as well for the lurkers for slogging through our thread, even though neither one of us has been especially good at pasting pictures.

I have to admit, it was a bit anticlimactic for us lurkers as well. I was hoping to see it at least cause some trouble for LP but i guess things had just gotten too out of hand. Still, it was a lot of fun to read all your updates and see the thought process that went into the invasion. Thanks for making this a fun thread to lurk!
