[Spoilers] Dreylin's short visit to a late Era

Btw, have you offered any other resource to pindicator?

Yep, 7xp needed now. Still thinking of MilAcademy in Rabbits, or could we consider Chameleons for ships now it's not really a frontline, or even Donkeys or Ducks to be more central?

I'm not sure that REM is looking to go any further than he already has, but we certainly need to keep a close eye on what he is doing and how his relations with Donovan are fixed - probably our greatest danger would be if he & Donovan sign Peace and then OB and he comes and hits our stack through Donovan. I think that unlikely, but far more likely that he looks to hit our wounded stack the turn after we capture ZO.

But it would take him a few turns to position himself to do that through added roads or a raid on Glitch Mode to remove it's culture that we have time to see coming and prepare for it. There is also a chokepoint in the road network on the Sheep tile south of ZO that we might be able to cut and prevent him getting access to that city and our wounded stack.

Oh, and we know he has the Fascism GG, so must also watch for Commando shenanigans.

Even so, I don't really that that REM will see it as in his interest to attack us at this time - he can see our research and knows we're not far from Inf too, and we have a much larger standing army than he does and a /much/ larger air force in Theatre. (We should probably release a spare Airship to go sit in one of his cities as run sweeps as well.)

And no, I keep forgetting to offer pindicator additional trades, but since he's already played this turn that gives me 2t to remember this time! That's also when we'll have our second Silver hooked up, which me might be able to use to get his last Sugar - I was checking the map last night and it looks like REM grabbed the Silver spot next to pindi's capital so he doesn't have access. For Metals, I think we escalate by 2gpt for each subsequent deal and see what he's willing to take. So 7gpt for Iron this turn and then next turn 9gpt for Copper/Iron again.

DZ is trying to win some more time to reinforce his Capital:

Scooter cancelled our incense supplies, so we have 1 unhappiness in Lhamas for next 3 turns. That hurts.

Well, it's a good thing he did it this turn rather than next; we can drop 1(?) Galleon worth of Cavs into Alpacas and run them down the coast to attack out at his mini-stacks. Then continue with the plan to drop off the Cats, etc. across from his new Cap.

How's the disposition of REM's forces look?

We can unload and attack yes, the odds are good even with wounded Cavalries because CG Infanties are not good fighters... Glitch mode is empty and S19 is just with 1 infantry.

I didnt explore REM, but it looked like he took the city with the minimum number of Cavs.

Tonight the RNG hated us; I lost two Cav-Inf fights at 85% & 89% odds (inflicting just 1 and 2 hits respectively) and gifted Donovan a second GG in ZO. duh

So I had to land a second Galleon of Cavs to get decent odds, which left just 6 units able to land this turn with the Cats to start the bombardment, and we'd only be able to land another 6 the turn after. I didn't feel comfortable with those numbers with a second GG in the mix, so I suspended the landing by a turn and shuffled a bunch of units around instead. Next turn we land 5 siege with 13 units as cover.

REM used only a small force to take the city, but it's turning into a bit of a party over here:

I doubt that Glitch Mode will still be empty next turn, but if it is I have Cavs (injured) in range to not only take it, but also to pillage the WM & Road 47 from it to cut it off from the West.

Scooter is on the move to our North:

There's a new Frigate up there and the Galleons are shuffling units about. There's one of our Frigates up there now, and I set up Ducks to 1t a Galleon incase we need to transfer units over to the island at speed (it'd be 3t before we could call one of the existing ones back from the front).

What are your current thoughts about prioritising GPs? If we're going Goats second and back to Slavery ASAP, we probably have to start pushing some extra Scientists there next turn so we have time to finish with just the regular 6 before the end of the current GA?

Oh, and our own GG triggered from the attacks and went into Rabbits - none of the options seemed nearly as good when I looked at them again in-game.

Oh RNG hates you.

About GPs, why are we in hurry? GS from Goats will come anyway, 2-3 turns of delay are not important. We'd better push GP from Lhamas. Or do you want it to be GA?

First of all scooter will try to push us from island, I guess. Need a plan how to stop him.

We also need to check if it is possible to make AL in 2, so we start drafting infantries 1 turn earlier.

I also think that you should continue unloading. We could use time to bombard city. CG infantries are not good fighters, especially when DZ is playing after us and being constantly damaged from air.

I think that needing to use the second set of Cavs along with the GG swayed me to not unload; it wasn't just that we'd only be able to land 5-6 hitters / cover units with them, but also that we could only bring in a similar number this turn, which would leave us able to attack with just ~12 units & no siege able to attack on t320 - and that didn't feel like enough to give us good odds. So if we have to wait an extra turn anyway, better to land the whole thing this turn, bombard the defenses away t320 - while adding another 3-6 units- and then attack on t321.

Also, the second GG means he could create 2 2-move units and cause us trouble somewhere if we've committed all our forces to the attack. Anyway, done now and we'll see what the consequences will be.

I get your point about not needing to rush the Goats GS - although maybe that will come as a side effect of getting research moving faster.

It seems like things are very much coming down to the wire on whether we can pivot to defend from Scooter or lose a chunk of territory.... scared

Assembly Line is doable in 2, the breakpoint is around 1300 science per turn.

REM is making pressure on us:

I have bombed an infantry for him frown

He has also got Electricity.

Top2 power grew by 200k soldier from last turn.
