It's a shame it isn't going to be planted at the better location, yes, but it's still better than a couple of our other spots. Yeah - "5" was a typo; if it had 5 fps, Ornata would obviously be a much better city. I'm happy with the deals you made for the site though, and it will be a net gain for us once we figure out what we want to do with it. I figure we'll farm the river plains tile, the grassland (jungle) 1S of the city, and the plains tile south of that, and I think I'd windmill the one riverside desert hill. Apart from that, I'd consider just cottaging all three fps (all second ring) and all four remaining grasslands (all five covered by jungle or forest) if we think India and Azteca can really be long-term friends. If we really want it to be a meat-shield though, we can farm everything in sight, still windmill that desert hill, I guess cottage the one unfarmable-until-biology grassland, and (eventually) mine the remaining desert hills. I dunno.

Heh. Wouldn't want to be rude to one of our allies, after all!

I think I'm all caught up on what (virtually nothing) has happened in the last 60hrs or so. It was nice of the other teams to give us that memorial day pause without us having to pay for it.
I have had one hell of a fun weekend! I love this damn convention! I can't wait for next year already. Going to be hanging out in the hotel room playing games with my friends tomorrow, before making an 8hr drive from Atlanta to Robinson IL Tuesday Afternoon.
If you need me for anything tomorrow, leme know. Otherwise, I'll check back Thursday evening for sure, and probably before.

I believe the capital wants to work the grass farm (NOT the plains farm) with the intention of delaying the maceman one turn and generating lots of overflow into a settler - the idea is to grow more quickly, partly just by working a 3f instead of 2f/1h tile, partly by spending a smaller number of turns on the settler. I ended up being on about 8-9 panels. Had a great time. Surprisingly the movies (the ones that did and did not get made) was my favorite panel of the entire weekend. The companion's panel was a lot of fun too. We're already working on content for next year.

Yes quite right, changed back. Big difference too that overflow. I'm getting confused with builds and completes.

Just a quick note on EP spending. We've overspent on Ruff. He supposedly overspent on us. I emailed him about it and he said it was unintentional and changed off us. I told him we'd spend up to 47 to regain visibility... well, we spent to 51... oops. No big deal I guess. We're still behind him in spending, but we have visibility.
I set the spending to 2 points on Byz (to get to the magic 43) and 2 on Portugal, who've spent to 36 on us to gain visibility. I'm not sure that it's really necessary to get graphs on Portu, but we have them on all our neighbors except Carthage, who's in our alliance, and, if you consider them neighbors, England. The CUDDLE Civs we don't have besides Portu are Ottos, Rome, and Holy Rome. Rome and Holy Rome aren't really players in this game atm, so neither are that important to get graphs on. If, however, you would prefer to spend EP elsewhere, we can discuss it.

It appears to me that the micro plan at Feng Shui got screwed up majorly last turn. It's short 4 food but has one more hammer than what my sandbox does, which tells me it worked a generic specialist instead of a flood plain farm. hopefully I didn't accidentally do this one... I don't think I did. I don't think I logged in last turn to do it... I think I only used the sandbox...
It's not going to grow now, and there's absolutely no way to fix this... and what really hurts about this is I spent 14 hours in the sandbox fixing this city over the not getting engineering on time because england didn't log in and give us money thing so that we could keep it growing on schedule . I suspect we don't want to whip the city till turn 123 now, so that it grows back right away, but I dono.
I could try to make a micro plan again in about a week if it's helpful, but obviously the one we have is going to run out before then.

Manic, working a citizen you say in FS?
Pretty sure I checked every city specficialy for this, however if I did overlook it then many apoligies. If it did happen then it was during my 2nd log in to correct the capital tile allocation, not that remember even looking at FS.
